POLL: What Did You Think Of CONSTANTINE's Series Premiere?

The last of this year's new small screen comic book adaptations hit last night as Matt Ryan (Assassin's Creed IV) brought his take on John Constantine to TV. Did this take on the fan-favourite character do Hellblazer justice or are you saying, "To hell with this show!" Let us know here....

This Fall has seen the return of shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Arrow along with the debuts of Gotham and The Flash. We'll see Agent Carter, Daredevil and iZombie early next year, but Constantine marks the last of 2014's small screen comic book adaptations. The Constantine pilot actually leaked online a little earlier this year, but some key changes were made in the last five minutes to write out Lucy Griffiths' Liv and to write in Angélica Celaya as comic book character Zed.

So, what did you guys think of "Non Est Aylum?" Here's your chance to let us know by rating the episode in the poll below and sharing your comments in the usual place. You can see the promo for next week's instalment of Constantine and what's to come during the rest of season one here.

Based on the wildly popular DC Comics series "Hellblazer," seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine (Matt Ryan) specializes in giving hell... hell. Armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and his wickedly naughty wit, he fights the good fight - or at least he did. With his soul already damned to hell, he's decided to leave his do-gooder life behind, but when demons target Liv (Lucy Griffiths), the daughter of one of Constantine's oldest friends, he's reluctantly thrust back into the fray - and he'll do whatever it takes to save her. Before long, it's revealed that Liv's "second sight" - an ability to see the worlds behind our world and predict supernatural occurrences - is a threat to a mysterious new evil that's rising in the shadows. Now it's not just Liv who needs protection; the angels are starting to get worried too. So, together, Constantine and Liv must use her power and his skills to travel the country, find the demons that threaten our world and send them back where they belong. After that, who knows... maybe there's hope for him and his soul after all.

Was the pilot the same as the leaked pilot?

@Lemons: No, they cut a lot of Liv's scenes, the ending was totally different and the demon John faced off with looked like him instead of the security guard it possessed in the leaked version.

You go down that road Desrow...

ANYTHING > Gotham

Seriously, can't handle Gotham, just watched the latest episode, pure garbage...if there wasn't a Batman mythos attached to it, would anybody watch it? Thought I'd stick with it, but I'm done, sure they'll miss me, but hope Constantine can't take it's place...

Agents of Shield is actually really good this season imo...think many agree, it's a much better show than it's first part of S1...

OT

Why is it users get banned for posting a topless women pic, yet these new sponsored ads on the right of the comments here can have a woman laying on the hood of a car with her tit out?

The pacing was an issue(too fast) however I see potential with this series.
