Comic-Con@Home's Thursday Schedule Includes THE BOYS, Disney+'s MARVEL 616, And Plenty Of Comic Books

The Thursday schedule for this year's Comic-Con@Home has been revealed, and while it would be unfair to call it underwhelming, there's not exactly a lot of big film and television panels. Check it out...

This year's San Diego Comic-Con has become a virtual event dubbed "Comic-Con@Home," and it's definitely a different beast to what we're used to. Thus far, there's little in the way of "big" panels, and Thursday's schedule is shaping up to be one mostly for hardcore comic book fans.

That's bound to be welcomed by those who feel the event has lost its way in recent years, and seeing as most major film and television panels take place on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, it will be over the next few days that we discover whether the majority of movie studios are joining Marvel Studios and Warner Bros. in deciding to give Comic-Con@Home a miss.

The Thursday, July 23rd schedule is certainly busy, but the only real highlight is The Boys. Each panel will have a YouTube video live at this link on the day for you to check them out.

Off topic: Disney are a bunch of hypocrites. X-Men: Days of Future Past just landed on Disney Plus with naked Wolverine and Professor X F bomb completely in tact. In contrast to going to extreme lengths in covering up Daryl Hannah's butt in Splash.

@MasterMix - I feel like they only care when it’s an actual home grown Disney product. One meant for kids.

It’s hypocritical nevertheless

Not quite there yet.

In terms of comics Marvel has...what? Empyre? The big ass X-Men crossover? Don't have any hype for neither of them.

And DC? They had 5G, which was looking like a complete disaster but then Didio got fired and coronachan striked and they realized that maybe that wasn't such a good idea so 5G got shitcanned, sooo what's next? F*cking Death Metal?

Rao give me strenght...

If i could get a f*cking release date for Arkham Asylum 2 and Multiversity Too and maybe some preview for 3 Jokers then maybe this year wasn't a complete waste.

@Doomsday8888 - Death Metal lost the two page Warren Ellis short about the Batmanasaurus Rex so all my interest in it is gone.

I hope Disney+'s Marvel 616 is just thirty minutes of a guy pointing at a comic and saying "616," then pointing at a movie poster and saying "Not 616."
