SDCC 2026: All The Biggest Announcements And Reveals You Missed From This Year's San Diego Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con 2026 featured plenty of huge updates, including some big reveals and first looks from Marvel, DC, Amazon, and more major studios. Here's a roundup of the biggest talking points.

Another San Diego Comic-Con is in the books, and this year's effort was much stronger than 2025's. Marvel Studios was largely to thank for that, though DC put the spotlight on Lanterns in a big way and plenty of other studios took the chance to reveal first looks at future movies and TV shows.

Comic-Con isn't as big as it once was, but it can still be relied on for some huge announcements and surprises. It was another exceptionally busy weekend here on ComicBookMovie.com, so we've now rounded up all the biggest news in one place, just in case you missed it.

Marvel Studios brought Avengers: Doomsday's X-Men to Hall H, but there was no sign of the upcoming reboot's mutant team. That reveal is likely being saved for D23, but Kevin Feige more than made up for it in San Diego with some big surprises.

Ryan Gosling will star in a Ghost Rider reboot directed by Star Wars: Starfighter and Deadpool & Wolverine helmer Shawn Levy. Meanwhile, Alien: Romulus star David Jonsson is confirmed as the MCU's new T'Challa in Black Panther 3.

We also learned more about Avengers: Doomsday—the SDCC-exclusive trailer has since leaked online—and got a new story trailer for the upcoming Wolverine video game.

DC Studios was, unfortunately, largely absent from Comic-Con. Clayface got a few minutes of attention during Jim Lee's panel, but that was it. On the plus side, Lanterns' SDCC trailer greatly impressed fans, largely winning them over after a couple of so-so previous efforts.

Plenty of other big franchises came to San Diego, including The Lord of the Rings, Blade Runner, and Spaceballs. We also got a first look at Johnny Depp's mainstream return in Ebenezer, along with Matchbox The Movie, Carrie, and more.
