Kevin Smith decided not to wait until SDCC and debuted the first trailer for the
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot online today. The director's meta comedy adventure will see Jay (Jason Mewes) and his hetero life mate Bob (Smith) return to Hollywood to stop a reboot of the
Bluntman and Chronic movie from getting made.
Before the trailer hit, Smith took to Instagram to share a poster and reveal that the new take on Chronic will be played by
Supergirl herself, Melissa Benoist.
The movie will also feature appearances from Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Rosario Dawson, Jason Biggs, Shannon Elizabeth, James Van Der Beek, and a certain Avenger who was looking a little husky the last time we saw him!
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is set to hit theaters in Fall 2019. Check out the red band trailer and a poster below, and let us know what you think.
