The organisers behind the Kapow! Comic Convention has announced that Noel Clarke (Adulthood, Doctor Who, Star Trek 2) will be at this year's event promoting Storage 24, a film that he has co-written and will star in. He and director Johannes Roberts will reveal exclusive footage from the movie, take part in a Q&A session and a signing. Here is a synopsis for the film (which is released in the UK on June 29th).
Storage 24 sees London in chaos after a military plane crashes leaving highly sensitive cargo crashes strewn across the city. Blissfully unaware of the situation outside Charlie (Noel Clarke) and Shelley (Antonia Campbell–Hughes), accompanied by friends Mark (Colin O‘Donoghue) and Nikki (Laura Haddock), are at Storage 24 dividing up their possessions after a recent break–up. When the power suddenly goes off, they find themselves trapped in a dark maze of endless corridors, with a mystery predator hunting them down one by one. In a place designed to keep things in, how do you get out?
It has also been revealed that
The Raid's writer and director Gareth Evans will take part in the Momentum Pictures Showcase panel as well as appearing on the Total Film stage. The critically acclaimed film has yet to be released in the UK (it's out on May 18th) but has so far been met with praise from critics. It follows a doomed SWAT team who become trapped in a tenement run by a ruthless mobster and his army of killers and thugs. There will also be other exclusive footage shown from upcoming Momentum Pictures films.
