Salt Lake Comic Con was the largest first year Comic Con in North American history and the biggest convention ever in Utah and the organizers of the event are promising that FanX will be bigger and better!

If you wanted VIP tickets, you're out of luck (they've been sold out for a while).  The good news is that there are still multi-day and single-day passes available!  Click Here to get tickets if you don't have them already!  All multipass and VIP ticket purchases will include "Comic Cash", vouchers that can be used $5 off photo-ops purchases at Epic Photo-Ops, as well as $5 off photo-ops and autographs purchased at participating celebrity tables in Celebrity Row.

Dan Farr, the producer, and man behind the Salt Lake Comic Con, gives a little preview of what you can expect from the 2014 FanX.

A quick suggestion - Download the FanX mobile app!  The app is your one stop shop for FanX on April 17-19. It includes a list of schedules and gives you the ability to build your own. It also includes news, special guest lists, exhibit lists and a show floor map.

The Comic Con Fan Xperience will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center Thursday April 17: 1:00pm-8:00pm, Friday April 18: 10:00am-8:00pm and Saturday April 19  10:00am-8:00pm.

You can learn more about the event at SaltLakeComicCon.com!

CBM co-founder Nate Best will be attending during the morning/afteroon on Thursday and Friday, and late afternoon/evening on Saturday, so keep your eyes open!

@LEE777 - Thanks! It's too bad you won't be able to make it.

I won't be able to spend as much time up there as I would like, but if it's anything like the Comic Con they did last September, it should be a blast :o)

Just make sure you fill-up on green Jell-o and funeral potatoes before you go. I imagine concession prices at the Salt Palace are going to be nuts.

Went to the one back in September with my girlfriend. I was Indiana Jones and she was Poison Ivy. Very fun. Not gonna make it to this one though.

@marvel72 - I really doubt it. While there will be a ton of people there, the con just is too new for the studios to make big announcements...I hope that changes as we continue to show up in huge numbers. And on another note, only 3 more hours!
