@jedi: I thought there were a lot of lighter moments in MoS, subtle or not. The scene were the army girl reaction seeing Supes for real for the first time were funny,and relieving enough after the emotionally intense and that epic final battle between the Kryptonians.

Others like the padre's response to Clark's confession, Perry's sharp and witty remarks with Lois, Supes knewing behind the interrogation room glass, the truck driver gets some super payback, Woodward comments on Lois, or the tenderness of both parents whether The El or the Kents.

On other note, my family yes that includes my parents and my two brothers enjoyed the movie and even can't wait what the next arc will be.
