Here's A Rundown Of All The Comic Book Movies Confirmed And Rumored To Feature At SDCC Next Month
No Marvel Studios this year, but the annual geek paradise that is San Diego Comic-Con will still feature plenty of awesome comic book flicks. Here's a rundown of what's been confirmed and what's rumored...
We already know that Marvel Studios will be skipping Hall H this year, which makes any big reveals relating to Avengers 4 or Phase 4 in general highly unlikely - but that doesn't mean there won't be plenty of other great stuff to look forward to at San Diego Comic-Con next month.
Aside from some early confirmations, we won't know for certain what movies will feature for another coupe of weeks, but thanks to a new report from io9 we may have a much better idea of what to expect.
Here's a list of the movies that are likely to have a presence at Comic-Con, broken down by studio.

Warner Bros.
Warner Bros. is expected to have a big presence at SDCC this year, with the first trailer for Aquaman already confirmed to debut at the convention by director James Wan himself.
In addition, we'll more than likely get a glimpse of some footage from the Shazam! movie, and maybe even a little something from Wonder Woman 1984.
Hopefully, we'll also find out more details on the studio's plans for the DC Films Universe moving forward - particularly as they pertain to the likelihood of a certain actor returning to a certain role!
20th Century Fox
Usually, X-Men fans could look forward to some footage from Fox's upcoming mutant-related movies at SDCC, but this year the studio's panel is expected to focus primarily on Shane Black's The Predator.
Still, with principal photography completed for both Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants, we would be very surprised if they didn't feature in some capacity.
Updates on the likes of Gambit and X-Force are also a possibility.
Sony Pictures
If Sony does hold a Hall H panel (it's still not certain, but very likely), expect it to be mostly Spidey-related with both Venom and the animated Into the Spider-Verse movie set to swing into theaters later this year.
The big question is, will be get any info on the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel?
There have been some rumors floating around recently that the studio may decide to comment on, but don't expect any big reveals or announcements on that front.
Lionsgate
While Lionsgate is unlikely to present anything in Hall H, we may still get some juicy tidbits and reveals from the highly successful mini-major film studio.
Hellboy fans will be hoping to finally see some footage from the upcoming reboot, and there's also a good chance we'll at least get a few more details on the third John Wick movie.
Universal
Universal will likely be promoting quite a few movies at SDDC such as the animated Grinch prequel, Peter Jackson’s Mortal Engines, and How to Train Your Dragon 3.
However, CBMers will be most interested to get a glimpse of some footage from M. Night Shyamalan's Glass, which is expected to have a panel.
Still, most of the spotlight will almost certainly be reserved for Michael Myers' imminent return in the new Halloween movie.
Paramount Pictures
Paramount don't usually miss out on Hall H, and this year they're expected to lead with the upcoming Transformers spinoff, Bumblebee.
There is also a chance we'll get some more details on the studio's plans for a shared cinematic universe consisting of its Hasbro properties, which include G.I. Joe, ROM and The Micronauts, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Disney/Marvel
Unfortunately, Disney/Marvel Studios will not have a presence in Hall H this year, which means we're going to have to wait a bit longer for any official announcements relating to Avengers 4 and the rumored crop of Phase 4 films.
It's also highly unlikely that we'll get any updates on the upcoming Star Wars projects.
However, that doesn't mean there won't be any Marvel-related goodies to enjoy on the convention floor, and at the very least we should get a glimpse of some new artwork or costumes from Captain Marvel.
We'll update you guys as soon as this is all confirmed, but in the meantime let us know what you're most looking forward to as SDCC this year in the comments.
