Indiana Jones and the Curse of the Smurfs

Indiana Jones and the Curse of the Smurfs

Harrison Ford appeared on Conan O'Brien to promote Cowboys and Aliens, but ended up putting the Smurfs -- which actually pretty much tied with C&A at the box office -- in their place!

I remember going to see Star Wars in 77 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. It was the first week of its run and the theatre was full to capacity. When the scene in the cantina when Han Solo blasts Greedo under the table in an act of bad assness...the whole audience roared with laughter and excitement. It was such a great scene that defined the word Space Pirate. Lucas is such an A-Hole!

The headline was way to [frick]in dramatic. Geez you made it seem like he went on a ti-raid or sumthing. This was him poking harmless fun at the smurfs, not "going on a Smurf-bashing spree, putting down the film".

Libel.

@PurpleHaze92- AGREED, Edgross needs to change the headline. He made it seem like Harrison Ford was bashing the living hell out of the Smurfs. That's what I expected to see going into this article but thank goodness Ford was still respectful while making it a point there was beef with Smurfs lol. But definitely there was no 'bashing spree' as Edgross had put it.

Hah! That's the most I ever saw Grif say about anything! lol.

There should be room for both movies but just remember guys, this summer's been dominated by CBMs. Family movies have been slim to none it seems like. I think Smurfs is dumb too, but if my 7 yr old son wants to see it, what am I to do?

That said, I feel like Favreau did us a service by helping to kick off the Marvel Studios movies, so I'll probably go see Cowboys and Aliens this weekend.

The movie was good. No big suprises and of course 13 is as hot as ever. Dont really see franchise potential of course but it doesnt really need it.
