JUSTICE LEAGUE Star Ray Fisher Knows When He'll Play Cyborg Again But Is Still Hoping For That Solo Movie

We'll finally get to spend some time with Ray Fisher's Cyborg in Justice League later this month and the actor talks here about when he'll return as Vic Stone and what he's hoping for from his solo movie.

We caught a glimpse of Ray Fisher's Cyborg in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice but he'll make his first full-blown appearance in Justice League later this month. In a new interview, the actor has revealed that he knows where Vic Stone will show up next in the DC Films Universe and has also described what he hopes to see from that Cyborg solo film in 2020 (assuming it ever actually happens).

"Things are in development. If I had my druthers, I think a Cyborg standalone would be a slightly more intimate story. One of the things that I always think is interesting with these sort of universes, is whenever there’s a world threatening crisis, it always makes you wonder, ‘Where are the other members of the group? Why didn’t they show up?’ I think finding an organic way to explain why these characters have to have their solo mission."

A Cyborg movie certainly has some potential but the chances of it happening no doubt hinge on the character being well-received in Justice League and emerging as something of a fan-favourite. Visually, he looks cool but the trailers haven't done a huge amount to show off his personality and motivations.

It's interesting that Fisher knows where he's set to show up as Cyborg next because there are only really a handful of options but chances are he's referring to Flashpoint. What do you guys think?

Off-topic: finished Stranger Things 2. Great stuff. Actually liked it a bit more than season 1, and episode 7 wasn't as bad as I'd heard.

Also, I can't be the only one who noticed that Dacre Montgomery is basically playing Martin Riggs if he was the bully in a Stephen King story.

Let's just hope they do Cyborg justice in his solo film. It would be wonderful to see a good Cyborg film. I just hope it gets here in a flash.
