I wouldn't consider all of these covers "iconic," but it's intelligent marketing per usual.

When I think of iconic covers, I think of Fantastic Four #1, ASM #50, Avengers #57, X-Men #101, Amazing Fantasy #1 or Daredevil #181. They should have worked Deadpool into those.

hes really funny sometimes but not by making sharp observations, every hero fails at that, hes funny at his randomness like the time he hired a homeless crazy bum to follow him everywhere saying hes his official biographer, that run was hilarious

Why the [frick] do people like Deadpool so much? He's a cool character but his exposure to popular culture is getting large for no reason.

@marvel72 I highly doubt that. They've had Blade for several years, but have zero plans for him. Why would Deadpool be any different?

@TheDarkKryptonian That's a picture of Groot from a long time ago. He actually lost a lot of weight over the years. His steady diet of action-adventure has kept him pretty lean and toned.

@ Sipprelle

because deadpool is more popular than blade & he hasn't had a third movie i.e blade trinity that ruined the character & is one of the worse comic book movies ever made.

they'll make more money out of deadpool than they ever would out of blade.

Whoever created those covers

They're not funny. 90% of Deadpool isn't funny and is directed at people with a 5 year old's sense of humor. Same goes for Harley Quinn.
