DEADPOOL 2 Will See Ryan Reynolds Receive His First Screenwriting Credit

Ryan Reynolds reportedly wanted greater creative control over the Deadpool sequel in a move that saw Tim Miller exit. Well, he certainly got it as he'll reportedly be listed as a co-writer on the film.

The official writers for Deadpool 2 are Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and Ryan Reynolds. That's the trio listed on the 20th Century Fox website as the writing team responsible for the script.

Whether the Writers Guild of America will officially acknowledge Reynolds as a writer remains to be seen.  This latest development comes after Reynolds also received a producer's credit.
