DEADPOOL 2 Extended "Super Duper Cut" Teaser Promo And Blu-ray Release Date Revealed

Ryan Reynolds has taken to Twitter to announce the home release date of the extended edition of Deadpool 2 that's set to premiere at SDCC later this month, & it'll be with us a lot sooner than you think!

We recently got a look at the Blu-ray cover art for the upcoming extended edition of Deadpool 2, and now star Ryan Reynolds has announced that the "Super Duper Cut" of the sequel will be available on Digital on August 7 and Blu-ray just a couple of weeks later on August 21.

This was a lot sooner than anyone expected to see this version of the film hit home release, as it's only premiering at San Diego Comic-Con a month earlier on July 21.

Reynolds also debuted a teaser promo, but unfortunately there's no footage of any of the new scenes that'll be added to the disc.

Exactly what those scenes will entail is still a mystery, but director David Leitch has previously stated that he shot some Cable and Domino stuff that didn't make the theatrical release, so expect to see more of them on the Blu-ray - along with some of the gags that Reynolds was forced to remove!

@SpideyPuffsMJ - It was entertaining for sure. Solid. But it's a good thing they're doing X-Force instead of Deadpool 3 because the shtick would have gotten old. People wouldn't have responded to a third one as well.

That quote from the movie is actually spot on. "You don't even need to make a third one. Why would you? You killed it!"

730 million on 110 million dollar budget. Not bad at all for a hard R CBM sandwiched between IW and Solo.

Prolly my number 2 CBM of the year. Maybe #3.

@regularmovieguy - for me the #1 and #2 spot are cemented so hard.

Can't really give a proper opinion on it though. I know I loved it, but I was [frick]ing wasted. I remember juggernaut getting something shoved up his ass. that happened right.

@BloodyBed

I can guess #1. What’s your #2?

@BloodyBed - "I remember juggernaut getting something shoved up his ass. that happened right." That did happen, it was a power cable I believe.

@regularmovieguy - infinity war #1 most likely right?

@RasAlGhul

1.) IW
2.) Black Panther (maybe? Idk....movie loses its momentum when T’Challa is thrown off of the waterfall)
2.) Deadpool 2 (hilarious movie, story isn’t anything special)
3.) ????

@regularmovieguy - it seems no much CBM this year..

@regularmovieguy -
I’d probably go
1. Infinity War
2. Black Panther
3. Deadpool 2
4. Ant Man and the Wasp
I have high hopes for Aquaman and Venom but I don’t think either has a chance of cracking the top 2

@OmegaDaGrodd - you’ve seen it by now you just don’t want to admit it cuz your MCU buddies will disown you.

@CaptainAmerica - I can't tell if this is a bad take or a bad joke, but regardless I will respond with 2 notes.

1. I saw the first Deadpool opening weekend
2. Judging by the box office, I'm not the only one who did that but didn't do the same for DP2

@OmegaDaGrodd @CaptainAmerica

I went to see the first DP opening day and brought some friends. Haven't seen the sequel, and won't until the extended home release.

@OmegaDaGrodd - lol wtf? its about to reach the amount DP 1 made.
OmegaDaGrodd
OmegaDaGrodd - 7/9/2018, 1:28 PM
@CaptainAmerica - Not sure what was hard to grasp

1. As noted, I saw the first DP opening weekend, dispelling the psychotic notion that I'd be for some reason unwilling to admit if I saw the second

2. As evidenced by DP2 failing to match the original's opening weekend or final gross (once DP2 leaves theaters eventually) I'm not the only one who saw the first opening weekend and never went back for the sequel

3. As noted above, DP2 isn't going to match the originals final numbers. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but it's definitely the truth
CaptainAmerica
CaptainAmerica - 7/9/2018, 1:55 PM
@OmegaDaGrodd -
1. you've watched DP 2 already

2. there's nothing to be ashamed of

3. your Marvel Zombie card is still intact
OmegaDaGrodd
OmegaDaGrodd - 7/9/2018, 3:44 PM
@CaptainAmerica -

1. Please provide proof that I've watched DP 2.

2. I'll wait

3. I hope you one day mature to the point where someone saying they forgot they still haven't seen a movie about a ninja making dick and poop jokes doesn't offend you at a personal level
