Deadpool 2, or
The Untitled Deadpool Sequel, is one of this year's most anticipated movies, even though nobody really knows anything about it.
Sure, we know Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beets) will join the wise-cracking Merc with a Mouth, played by Ryan Reynolds, along with a slew of other returning characters; but, for the most part, much of the film's plot remains a mystery. Well, it was a mystery, anyway.
On Thursday night select fans were given the opportunity to sit through a test screening for
The Untitled Deadpool Sequel, according to ComicBook.com sources. Unfortunately, no other details regarding the test screening were revealed, and the site reports that attendees were likely required to sign an NDA that forbids them from sharing any details, opinions, or thoughts about the movie.
For the rest of us, we'll likely have to wait until
Black Panther hits theaters next month before we get our first proper look at
The Untitled Deadpool Sequel. The trailer
will reportedly be attached to the upcoming Marvel flick which opens on Febuary 16, but apparently the plan is to release the trailer online on Valentine's Day two days earlier. We've had teasers for the movie released in the past, but the trailer will likely give us our first look at newcomer Josh Brolin as Cable in action.
Following a shake up in dates,
Deadpool 2 will not hit theaters on May 18.
