THE DEADPOOL BEFORE CHRISTMAS: New Details Revealed About The PG-13 Cut Of DEADPOOL 2
Fox recently announced that a PG-13 of Deadpool 2 will be released in theaters this Christmas and we now have new details on how much extra footage will be included and the introduction of a new character.
While parents can take their children to an R-Rated movie, most would have understandably decided against taking their little ones to a screening of Deadpool 2 earlier this year. Fox, however, is looking to give Aquaman and Bumblebee a run for their money at the box office this Christmas by releasing The Deadpool Before Christmas, a PG-13 version of the movie which was kept a secret until recently.
Now, MCU Cosmic reports that this will be an "adapted version" of Deadpool 2 which is essentially an edited cut of the one that hit theaters earlier this year; it is NOT a new movie. Despite that, we can expect at least fifteen minutes of new footage, something which is bound to entice fans back into theaters to watch the movie again despite no doubt owning the "Super Duper Cut" on Blu-ray by now.
As for that "new character," before you start getting your hopes up about an appearance from Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, that's more than likely going to be Fred Savage as the Merc with the Mouth recounts this story to him (with that in mind, it's also feasible that those fifteen minutes of new footage will just be him talking to Deadpool). How do you guys feel about these new details?
