Ryan Reynolds is currently doing the rounds to promote his new movie, Spirited, and the actor has been talking a lot about Deadpool 3. The movie is now less than two years away from arriving in theaters and excitement surrounding the threequel has surged ever since news broke that Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine.
Yesterday evening, we learned that Loki star Owen Wilson is likely to reprise his role as Mobius, a strong indication that Wade Wilson and Logan will be taking a road trip through the Multiverse.
While we're sure the two heroes will cross paths with plenty of familiar faces, could singer Taylor Swift be among them? Rumours have swirled that she might make an appearance in Deadpool 3, with some fans noticing that the movie's announcement video was shot at the same location as All Too Well: The Short Film.
"If we shoot the next Deadpool film in our house, then that would be that location," Reynolds joked, shooting down the rumour in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. However, he'd go on to say that he'd "of course" be down to have Swift appear. "Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She's a genius."
"Oh my God, yes. All of us, whole house, I'm not kidding. I love it so much," he added when asked about Swift's new album, Midnights. "I do, Blake does, my daughters. We love it. Obsessed."
In a separate interview that you can watch below, Reynolds assured fans Deadpool 3 is respectful to 2017's Logan, a movie than ended Jackman's time as the mutant. "We figured out a way to do it that's Hugh Jackman approved and Kevin Feige approved, where we're completely protecting the legacy of Logan, the way it was left off. We wouldn't mess with that."
As for Swift, she has some acting credits to her name, including Cats and Amsterdam. We also can't help but think that the singer would make for a great Dazzler!
