Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds (or more accurately, Deadpool) have built up a bit of a friendly rivalry over the years, and the Logan star has now responded to the Merc with a Mouth making his (unofficial) Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.
Reynolds recently shared a video of Deadpool reacting to the new trailer for Free Guy alongside Korg (Taika Waititi), captioning the post: "DP is officially in the MCU! He’s starting with reaction videos, then some social influencer work, onto Parks appearances all leading up to some after-credit work by 2030."
Jackman then added the comment: "Wow! 4:12 and no mention of me. DP your therapy is working!!!"
Of course, this doesn't really mark Wade Wilson's first MCU appearance, but that is going to happen at some point with the release of Marvel Studios' Deadpool 3. Last year, we found out that had 20th Century Fox been able to move forward with a third Deadpool movie, it would have featured a team-up with Jackman's Wolverine, and many fans remain hopeful that we'll still see that little road trip someday.
Hey, with the Multiverse now firmly established, anything is possible!
