Disney+ won't go live until November, but subscriptions for the streaming service are now available.

Pre-orders can be purchased on Disneyplus.com with both monthly and annual subscriptions available at $6.99 and $69.99, respectively, with a seven-day free trial beginning November 12. Early sign-ups are available to US residents only for the time being.

You'll find more info below along with a brief new promo for the service, although there's no footage from any of the Marvel shows or The Mandalorian, unfortunately.

There will be a massive array of content available on Disney+ at launch, but we'll have to wait a little while for the highly-anticpated Marvel shows such as The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and WandaVision. The Mandalorian will debut on November 12, however.

Tell us, do you plan on signing up for Disney+? Drop us a comment in the usual place.

7 bucks a month for all that content and more to come is a steal. Netflix... Be afraid.

@KWilly - They are. They're losing Friends AND the Office. So they just spent half a billion dollars to take Seinfeld back from Hulu.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - And that ain't even coming out til 2021. It's an old show, and they're treating it like they have never-before-seen episodes lol.

@KWilly - to be honest the current content isn't all that impressive, the exclusive Disney+ stuff better be good to be a threat for Netflix

A few years from now all the big Emmy winners will be Disney+ shows

Unless a good chunk of watched content on Netflix is Disney, I'm not sure why Netflix needs to be afraid. The only issue I see with Netflix is their price point...not content. They are going to need to seriously lower their prices.

Is there any cost benefit to signing up this early? If not, what is the point? It's not like they're gonna run out of subscription spots

@SpideyPuffsMJ - Thats pretty much the case with any pre-order, and I don't really see a point in it either

Wow does this site suck! Between the ads and glitchy comments section and the click bait .. I wish there was a better alternative.. what this site has going for it is the passion of some of the commentators and some contributors.. but the operation of the site.. is horrendous

Even on desktop mode the site is unstable and glitches every few mins so I’ll be quick before my message disappears again

Disney is going to make sooo much money.. even if they don’t have tons of new content at launch, they have enough old content you only need a little new content with more on the way

Netflix has been preparing for this and will try and pull an ace from their sleeve.. whether it works or not is yet to be seen, they will definitely have some steep competition.. but they’re not going anywhere anytime soon

DCU needs to really double down .. triple down and get even more new content in the works if they want to have the smallest sliver of a chance of staying even remotely competitive.. HBOMax or not

What exactly is the benefit of pre-ordering something digital? For a physical product I get that you wanna pre-order it so that you are certain you get it before it runs out of stock, but for Disney+ it doesn't really make sense. On top of that, why only in the US?

I take it the first theatrical versions of the OT still won't be streaming on this?

Netflix's catalog of documentaries is unbeatable, but Amazon Prime is close. I watched No Greater Love on Amazon Prime over the weekend and highly recommend it.

AppleTV+ looks awful. Only original programming and all the new shows look pretty sketchy.

say, umm... I don't suppose anyone would... theoretically, mind you... be able to point me in the right direction to procure an mp3 file that just might happen to accidentally contain the entirety of the directors commentary track for Avengers:End Game... ? :)
