Walt Disney have just sent out a very brief press release announcing that Scottish Game Of Thrones actor Richard Madden (Robb Stark) will play the Prince in Cinderella.

"Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) has been cast as the Prince in Disney’s upcoming live-action Cinderella. As previously announced, the film is being directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh, stars Cate Blanchett as the wicked stepmother and features Lily James in the title role."

Madden was said to be at the top of a shortlist for the role for a while now, though we never found out who his competition was. We'll assume this young royal will be less partial to beheadings than The King In The North anyway.
