Wreck-It Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game’s perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes… so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan—win a medal—but soon wrecks everything, and accidently unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman), a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade?

The 3D computer-animated comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and directed by Rich Moore, is set for release on November 2, 2012.

I don't understand why anyone's excited for this movie. It looks [frick]ing stupid. And no, not because of the concept. But because all the jokes are so... lame. Lame, childish, and unfunny.

I do realize that it's a kid's movie. But I felt like this film is treating it's viewers like they have the IQ of a peanut when it comes to jokes. Something I didn't feel when watching superior animated films like Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, or heck even, Tangled (a Princess film from Disney themselves).

I'll be skipping this, and I hope it bombs so we don't go on some trend of dumb animated movies, like we have for action with Transformers.

Yeah, I was excited for this. The concept seemed like could be a video game 'Toy story', but Disney being Disney had to put in the 'cute' character. So instead of creating a 'Buzz Lightyear' we get Disney Generic Cute Character 5.

Yeah, that jokes aren't that great. The hit a guy with glasses was great, I will give it that.

Just seems more I see of this more I am liking it less and less.

Not at all crazy about the music choice in these trailers, feels like its selling out a bit much by doing so. And was never really a fan of sarah silverman. It may be better if this kind of project was handled by Pixar instead
But aside from that this movie I think is still something that looks interesting. I do gotta give it credit for at least paying tribute to some real game characters

Kinda reminds me of the futurama episode where everything was like a video-game

So basically a movie based on a game that has doesn't want to play the game........

God I hope they actually make spin-off's like with sonic, etc.... Or their own films because I'm pretty sonic movie is due for a reboot.

@Super12
I did appreciate a total of 5 Shrek films (including Puss in Boots), 2 Kung Fu Panda films, and one Disney princess film. So no, your joke falls flat on its ass because you wrote an idiotic defense without reading my comment.

@JerBear

If you can't tell enough about this film's approach from the trailer already, you are probably one of the peanut IQ people this is trying to appeal to.

Why do I have this feeling that most of these game characters are just going to be cameo's and not have a part in the actual story? I wouldn't care as much, but it just seems like all the promotional material is sticking these well known characters like Sonic and the Street Fight guys in there just to get people in the seats, I feel like this movie is going to be a failed opportunity...I know no one's seen it yet, but it would be awesome if they actually had Ralph go into those established games as part of the story...guess we'll have to wait and see what they do with it.
