Stellan Skarsgard Set To Reunite With Kenneth Branagh For CINDERELLA
After working together on THOR, director Kenneth Branagh looks set to reteam with Stellan Skarsgard (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) for Disney's upcoming Cinderella remake.
While he will next appear in the Alan Taylor helmed Thor: The Dark World, Stellan Skarsgard's next major blockbuster looks set to be Disney's live-action remake of Cinderella. The actor - who also appeared in The Avengers - is being lined up to play "the grand duke, the king’s adviser, who just may have ulterior motives in his guidance." Kenneth Branagh will direct the fairy tale, while Cinderella already has its titular character (Lily James), a handsome prince (Richard Madden), a wicked stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and two wicked stepsisters (Sophie McShera and Holliday Granger) along with the Fairy Godmother (Helena Bonham Carter).
