Next year we will see the likes of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, & the rest of the toy gang return for another big adventure. Recently, Woody voice actor Tom Hanks recalled his experience recording the final scene of the upcoming fourth film:
"When I realized what they were going for, I realized, 'Oh, this is a moment in history,' "Hanks said on BBC's The Chris Evans Breakfast Show. "The emotional range of the movies has become more & more deep & profound & affecting."
It definitely seems that more emotional scenes will come into play & hit harder than the predecessor Toy Story 3. The movie will be about Woody's relationship with Bo Peep, who was sold off in the third movie, & he'll team up with Buzz to try & find her. What happens & leads up to the scene Hanks is describing is yet to be seen, of course.
Hanks also added: "Here's the thing about those geniuses that are there at Pixar & everybody who has ever been involved in any of the 'Toy Story' things: they invented something there. It's a very, very, very special collection of movies that have been put together that, I think, hits each one of us in a completely individual way."
A similar exchange of words came from Hank's co-star Tim Allen back in September. He described the story to be as complex & emotional as Avengers: Infinity War (wow), & he too couldn't get past the last scene!

It looks like we should start getting our tissue boxes ready once Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 4 hits theaters June 21st, 2019!
