New DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS TV Spot Is Full Of SPOILERS!

Another TV spot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now online, and it looks like Marvel Studios has decided to relax on the spoiler front ahead of the movie's release next month!

Another TV spot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been shared online, and as often tends to be the case when a movie's release date draws near, Marvel Studios seems to be taking a slightly more relaxed attitude to spoilers!

This latest promo for the sequel is only 15 seconds long, but it gives us another look at Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) in his chair, and a first glimpse of Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell). The variant, who we first met in the Disney+ What If...? animated series, only appears briefly as she squares off against the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), but there's no mistaking that shield!

To be fair, this probably won't be news to anyone who's been keeping track of rumors/leaks, but it'll be interesting to see if they give anything else away over the next week or so.

In Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams. The film is directed by Sam Raimi, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Michael Waldron.

The Doctor Strange sequel releases in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2022.

@XKnight -

Do these types of petitions have any real teeth to them?

@tylerzero - I don't think I've ever actually seen one work. But I've also never seen one with over 2 million signatures either!

@XKnight - That won't work unless it reaches WB. Instead of doing this, they should just bombard WB's social media handles!

Awesome!

But I was OK with the previous level of uncertainty ;)

We didn't need those spoilers.

Still, makes us think on what they DIDN'T spoil.

@Fogs - Showing Wanda fighting The Illuminatti was WAY too much...I read in one of the comments this wasnt suppoused to come out this week, which I guess makes sense, this is like showing Cap using Mjolnir or the Spidermen in a TV spot.

@TheHumanSpider2 - again, makes me wonder of the unspoiled parts.

@Fogs - Video was deleted, this was obviously not meant to be released before the movie's launch.

@Fogs - I stopped watching commercials and dropped everything always & emergency awesome subscriptions. I don't regret it. Besides, I can always watch after viewing the actual movie.

@TheHumanSpider2 - OOOPS WRONG FILE!

Still, didn't had "out now" on it so taking it out means a strat change.

BTW it's back on.

BigPhilbowski and @tripttwe, they only changed from "Friday" to "May 6" (the spoilery scenes remain), so @TheHumanSpider2's theory was incorrect. They simply used the wrong lettering in the previous version (was just giving the idea it going to be released today, 4/29).

@Fogs - Why did they spoil so much? they were keeping Wanda being the villain a secret, same with the Illuminatti.
Fogs

@TheHumanSpider2 - The last poster (that busy looking one) was clearly showing Wanda as the villain as well, they unfortunately are not trying to hide that indeed.

Captain Carter appears to be wearing on her back some sort of rocket or propulsor device.

The iconic yellow colored X-Men 90s wheelchair for Xavier, neat.

Giving it more thought, maybe the propulsor that Captain Carter is using there could have been taken from the HYDRA Stomper's armor since she did found her Steve to be alive in the ending of her episode.

Or it is just a different Illuminati related tech.

@Waddles - I definitely will be forever sad. Wanda can't just decimate the illuminati.. can she?

So this is a variant of Charles Xavier played by Patrick Stewart and not the Charles Xavier from the Fox movies also played by Patrick Stewart? Interesting.

I think that was a bit too much for people who want to see the movie knowing nothing...

That was definitely an exciting reveal to see the yellow hoverchair (and even the green suit from the animated series, too), but it does make me wonder what direction in which they're going to take the MCU version of Xavier.
TheHumanSpider2
TheHumanSpider2 - 4/28/2022, 6:14 PM
@WeaponXCII - Rumour a few years ago was Disney wanted to avoid the Holocaust background for Magneto (it also doesnt make any sense he is still alive in current times), so both Eric and Charles were going to be black, with Eric growing up in a racist part of the US during the '60s, with him being played by Giancarlo Esposito.
Again, this was a few years ago, maybe they changed their mind, especially considering this sounds a lot similar to Killmonger's backstory, who, to many, was already "MCU's Magneto".

@MovieMonster - Him coming back after the perfect send-off in Logan, just to play a cameo, is already a mistake, imo.
