X-MEN Legend Sir Patrick Stewart Shares PERFECT Response When Asked If He's In DOCTOR STRANGE Sequel

Doing the rounds to promote Picard, Sir Patrick Stewart has been bombarded with questions about the latest trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Mandness. His latest answer, however, is perfect!

Talk about bad timing, eh? Just days after the latest trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was released, Sir Patrick Stewart started doing the rounds to promote his Star Trek TV series, Picard, and the legendary actor ended up being bombarded by questions about the Marvel movie.

In that sneak peek, we saw Stephen Strange come face to face with a mysterious character who is almost certainly Professor X. The X-Men leader being part of the Illuminati adds up, and his psychic powers should be more than a match for the former Sorcerer Supreme and even the Scarlet Witch.

Previously, Stewart was quoted as saying, "Friends and some people I hardly knew at all making reference to [the trailer]. 'Is that you? Is that you?' Well, of course, you know, I was just at home waiting to watch football, so how could it possibly have been me? We'll have to wait and see, won't we?" He'd later point out, "You know, people have been imitating my voice ever since I came on the stage 60 years ago. So, I can't be held responsible for that."

Now, though, we'd argue Stewart has issued his funniest response yet, simply stating: "Who's Doctor Strange?" With that, the interviewer is shut down, and the actor appears to be having great fun.

Which Charles Xavier Variant we'll see in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness remains to be seen. Many fans have questioned why Marvel Studios would bring Stewart back as the character ahead of an X-Men reboot, but we're sure there's a method to their apparent madness.

We'll find out what's going on when Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness arrives on May 6.

@Repian - it’s been a slow day for him. I bet he’s gonna make a top ten list of characters we’d like to see in the multiverse

I’m guessing he saw Andrew Garfields responses to being in Spider-Man and thought he could do it too.
Only difference is Garfields likeness and voice wasn’t used in the promo trailers at all. Patrick Stewart is literally voicing this professor X in the promo and I’m gonna go ahead n assume he’s in the movie.

Guys, this is a separate interview (which you'd know if you simply watch the video). Josh just included that excerpt from the Kevin McCarthy one he obviously reported on a few days ago.

Maybe this new short interview wasn't worth a whole article, but calm down.

@TheManWithoutFear - new season out? It’s because they made Picard a [frick]ing BOT dude. They oversold the synthetic shit who asked for Picard to be terminal in his first season lol the writers are just full blown dumb. Kurtz man needs to go

@TheManWithoutFear - I probably can't say much, because I'm not much of a Trekkie, but yeah, the first season was kinda boring.

I just didn't like the team Picard assembles, because the characters are totally uninteresting. There is also almost no action, and not saying that Star Trek is supposed to be an action piece, but I just don't find it appealing seeing an 80-year old Stewart as he leads his team on dangerous missions.

The second season is supposed to start on March the 3rd.

Star Trek Discovery is slightly better, but the fourth season has awful ratings, so I decided I'll not waste my time.

Strange New Worlds with Anson Mount as Captain Pike (with Spock) seems a lot more interesting to me, although we'll still have to wait for it to arrive.

@TheManWithoutFear - For context I binged the whole Next Generation in the first months of the pandemic, 7 seasons straight. Watching it for the first time and loving the characters.

I gave up on Picard a bit after the half of the first season.. i couldn't do it anymore.

I also gave up on Discovery a couple episodes into season 3.

I'm looking forward to Strange New Worlds with Pike's crew, fingers crossed they don't mess up that one too.

Okay now I’m concerned. We ban SW and Tolkien from this site and now Josh is posting the same articles. Wtf is going on gang?? I feel like 12 of us come here religiously and once we lose the 12 of us we are full Ain’t It Cool and Josh is our Harry. Just kidding josh I know you don’t wear adult diapers but seriously. Is this site dying???? We’ve had such a run

Could Marvel do the same thing DC did with the first Crisis and have multiple earths merged into one? Perhaps they will even reveal that the MCU we've been watching, was a universe that was altered by Strange.

@PartyKiller - Could be what they're doing in order to bring both the X-Men and Fantastic Four into the MCU proper.

@PartyKiller - MARVEL also did the "crisis collaboration". In Secret Wars (3rd version).

“ Well, of course, you know, I was just at home waiting to watch football, so how could it possibly have been me?”

That’s worse than anything Andrew Garfield said. Like trailers are filmed live.

@Darth258 - I was thinking the exact same thing. Their denial that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were in Spider-man No Way Home. I mean Andrew Garfield was still denying he was in the film after the film got released.
