If you need further proof that Doctor Strange is going to be the most visually unique Marvel Studios movie to date, look no further than this trippy featurette. Exploring how Steve Ditko's artwork inspired the Scott Derrickson helmed release, we see his comic book covers and panels brought to life her to amazing effect as The Ancient One sends the good doctor hurtling through different dimensions.

Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions. Set for release on November 4th, later this year, the cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwitel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton, and maybe even Robert Downey Jr.

@Deonox @PapaLazarou - I mean, not much compares to that but they've definitely made a solid attempt at capturing visually certain aspects of it. Don't wanna give spoilers but it seems we've just seen some of the decent dose LSD/Psilocybin level visuals before this featurette... if that makes any sense.

They still only gave us small glimpses. And that makes this the last Dr. Strange thing I'll watch before the movie release. If you don't mind a small peek, check it out. If you wanna remain completely unspoiled until you watch the film so you can go in fresh, stay away from this clip.

Remember in Inception when the main character became the sorcerer supreme and fought off mystical threats all the while saving the multiverse from collapsing onto itself.

I actually feel like it was really a good idea for Marvel to showcase some of these "Ditkoesque" visual- it'll definitely get the GA more interested.
