ETERNALS: Marvel Studios Releases Twenty Amazing New Hi-Res Stills From The Chloe Zhao-Directed Blockbuster

With a little over a month to go, Marvel Studios has released a ton of stunning hi-res stills from Chloe Zhao's Eternals, revealing new looks at the MCU's newest - and oldest - set of heroes.

Following the blockbuster success of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Disney wisely opted to keep their next major Marvel Studios release, Chloe Zhao's Eternals, in theaters only, which should prove to be quite a fruitful decision as the global box office continues to strengthen.

With just over a month left on the countdown clock, Marvel Studios has shared twenty hi-resolution stills from the upcoming release, offering fresh looks at the massive ensemble cast. While we still don't have a super clean look at the villains of the piece, the Deviants, there should be plenty more coming our way in October as we all attempt to avoid spoilers for the next few weeks.

The outstanding ensemble cast includes Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, with Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, with Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.

Eternals hits theaters on November 5.

Marvel Studios’ “Eternals” follows a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.

Never really had any interest in the eternals comic when I was a kid. Zero interest in this movie. Loved Shang Chi comic as a kid and loved the movie.

@Nunyabiz -

WARNING: this is not a knock at anyone’s opinions or hopes for the movie. This is just some bullcrap I came up with. Disregard and in fact do not read anything I say after this. Or before. Or anything, ever. Reading bad.

I tell ya man, a lot of people point to Guardians being unknown yet blowing up, however, it had some great trailers. The eternals don’t have a hulk or a Groot… lemme put it like this. As a kid I always noticed that street fighter characters came in different shapes and sizes and heights, but in mortal kombat they were all the same. Yes I know it was the different animation styles, realism, yada yada, and I loved both games, I’m just trying to make a comparison. A friend of mine said these guys look like the justice league. I thought about that. Thor, Hulk, Groot, Drax, Rocket, Cap, Tony, Gamora, Vision… the people in those two teams stand out. These guys don’t have that. I bet Inhumans could’ve worked as a movie, with the right direction etc. This isn’t me saying the movie will flop. I’m just guessing as to why some folks aren’t impressed.
