Marvel Studios may have released the final trailer for Eternals, but it looks like the TV spots are about to start dropping fast! In this new 30-second preview, we get to see more of the Deviants in action, and it's clear these monsters will pose a considerable threat to the title heroes.
There are some great shots of characters like Kingo and Thena in action, and we also get some of that trademark MCU humour when Ikaris points out to Phastos' son that he doesn't wear a cape (he may have "heat vision" a little like Superman's, but that's definitely where the similarities end).
Interestingly, it seems the Eternals have stepped out of the shadows by this point, which could be a sign that they're finally going to become publicly recognized heroes like The Avengers.
Eternals is the MCU's latest team-up, and features a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again,
Chloé Zhao directs Eternals, and Kevin Feige and Nate Moore are the producers, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Kevin de la Noy serving as executive producers. The story is by Ryan Firpo & Matthew K. Firpo, and the screenplay is by Chloé Zhao and Patrick Burleigh.
Starring Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, Salma Hayek as Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as Thena, Eternals is set to be released on November 5.
