CBM Fight Club RULES!!!

-NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST. In choosing a winner base your vote on the most iconic interpretation of the character. The comment section is a great place for you to present why you think that character would win the fight.

-The fights are first meeting chance encounters - no prep time.

-The fights does not need to be deathmatches, incapacitating the other character can be considered a win.

-Lopsided matches may occur (which also happens regularly in the comics and movies) but before you write out the "weaker" character try to think of possible ways this character can beat the more "powerful" opponent. Again the comment section will be helpful in this.

-Eligible fighters are characters who have both been given life in comics AND movies.

THE POLLS WILL RUN FOR A WHOLE MONTH BEFORE THE RESULTS WILL BE DISPLAYED. [CLICK HERE TO VOTE & VIEW OTHER POLLS]

Aquaman
Flash
Cyborg

Honestly, Spider-man's the only Marvel hero who has a ghost of a chance here, and that's only because the nebulous Spider Sense may give him a shot to simply cold clock Flash before things really get going.

*Sigh* And yes, fanboys, Aquaman outclasses Wolverine heavily. Sorry.

Aquaman vs Wolverine -- ugh. I hate to say it -- seriously, I really do -- but I'd have to give this one to Wolverine. I hate the character more than just about anything in comics, but long before writers turned his "healing factor" into more of a ridiculous "can't be killed no matter what you [frick]in' do" factor, he was going toe-to-toe with the Hulk. And Aquaman, as powerful as he is, is no Hulk.

Spider-Man vs Flash -- Spider-Man. Though I'll admit this one's pushing it. His spider-sense and reflexes would really need to be firing on all cylinders to take on someone like Flash. Yeah his spider-sense gives him a split second's notice, and his superhuman reflexes allow him to act on that spider-sense, but what's the time difference between being aware of the buzz from the spider-sense and reacting to it? Anyway, I'd give this to Spider-Man on a first encounter because Flash wouldn't know about the spider-sense. But if they were to square off again later, it would likely be a very different fight.

Cyborg vs Nick Fury -- actually, I'd give this one to Fury but only if he gets in the first shot. That first shot would have to be with a weapon, it would have to be right off the bat before Cyborg could activate one of his many system weapons, and he would have to target the still-human part of Cyborg's head. And I think Fury's fully capable of that. But if he misses...hoo, boy.

Aquaman vs Wolverine: There's a lot to say about both characters here. Wolverine is bad-ass, Aquaman has been ridiculed but now is finally turning into something more acceptable. Aquaman is stronger, and in the ocean he would destroy Wolverine. Wolverine is a greater fighter but I have to give this to Aquaman. His set of powers surpasses Wolverines. Aquaman could simply hinder Wolvs fluids(blood so forth) from moving and keep him paralyzed for life.

Spidey vs Flash goes to Flash. Even with his incredible senses Spider-Man has no chance to react to Flash. There is simply no way. The fight would be over even before it began.
Flash is so fast he can vibrate through matter, he can move his arms so fast he can fly; a ridicoulus accomplishment.
And if Flash hits him, with his speed as well, it would have the same energy as atombombs, so Flash wins hands down. Not even a chance or split possibility to Spidey.

Cyborg vs Fury, I'd say Cyborg simply because he is a Cyborg.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but no, it's not a popularity thing for me. Honestly I've completely lost interest in Spider-Man, not even bothering to read his titles for the last four or five years.

Again, for me, it comes down to the spider-sense. He'll get the warning as Flash thinks of making a move and will be getting out of the way before Flash takes the first step. Of course if it's toe-to-toe there's nothing Spidey can do, but I don't see Spider-Man taking this opponent on toe-to-toe anymore than he would Speed Demon, Quicksilver, Northstar -- all of whom possess blink-and-you'll-miss-'em speed.

Also note that I did say my voting for Spider-Man was pushing it. But I do think he'll at the very least be able to stay out of reach long enough to plan an attack.

My two cents.

This is going to be Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg. Aquaman is too versatile(can't believe I said that about a fish), Flash is too fast so Spider-Man has better chances fighting the color purple than Flash, Cyborg too powerful to Nick Fury. If it was Samuel L. Jackson however Cyborg would need a cybernetic butt to take that punishment.
