Hi, I’m here to share a dream that I had with watching the screening of TDKR.
Before starting, I want you to know if there are any continuity errors or silliness; please remember that this is a dream. Also, it’s my first post.
They’ll show the company logos. They shows the prologue, then the movie begin with the CGI bat symbol, as usual, but burning in fire, then frozen, and then shatters slowly. The national anthem from the trailer will begin
As the song continues, Bane, shown from behind and covered by shadow, presses a button. Kid finishes singing, audience applauses. The football stadium collapses, like the trailer. The kid singing falls into the pit as players tries to run away. (This part is just a short 40 second montage scene.)
Shows Bruce Wayne, with a beard, walking out of an airplane as Alfred, looking depressed, walks towards him. (This part will be dark and gloomy.) In a limo, Bruce thinks about his experiences as the Dark Knight, (recycled shots of Joker, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Ra’s, and new shots of him fighting thugs)
He watches the news on the limousine TV about the football stadium incident, “The world doesn’t need Batman anymore,” Bruce says to Alfred,” five years ago, witnesses saw a man, dressed in green, fighting a shadow, a year later, a teen somehow saved an airplane from crashing!”
Alfred looks at Wayne, ignoring what he just said, “So, China again?” he asks.
“Canada.” Bruce answered
The news was suddenly interrupted. Three men, wielding guns, pounces the two reporters. Then a figure in a robe sprayed the victims with an unknown substance, and they started screaming. Bane walks in, “Nine years ago, a mysterious man, dressed as a bat emerged from nowhere in the alleys of Gotham, fighting crime. A year later, he murdered several people, including Gotham’s White Knight, Harvey Dent, and then disappeared. I’m here to send a message to this crazy “superhero”, if you don’t want the truth of what happened that very night to be revealed, come and find me.” They walk out of the place. (Fortunately, there are subtitles when Banes talks.)
Bruce realized that the 3 men with guns are dressed like the League of Shadows, and the figure in a robe in, indeed, Scarecrow.
Bruce arrives at Fox’s place, and they have some random conversation that is unnecessary to include. Fox later gives information on JGL’s character, a gang member that’s an ex-LoS member, thinking that he might have some connection with Bane. Later, new gadgets are introduced, along with a new Bat suit w/smaller logo and a hint of brown and Batwing covered in cloth.
Bruce later arrives at a building owned by gangsters, planning to pretend to double-trade. After the meeting, Bruce goes to the roof top, makes a call, and a pod falls onto the roof. It opens and reveals the suit, and then he walks into the pod, and comes out fully dressed. A guard hears the sound and comes out with a gun, but Batman quickly punches him and makes him unconscious. Batman later takes out the flashlight-looking weapon (that was revealed a while ago on this very website), scans the guard, and a beam flashes on the guard, and the guard suddenly became Bruce, like wearing a disguise.
But more guards came out (the Bane chant starts playing), so Bat took out a small rectangular object, presses a button on it, and hooks it on his wrist, like a watch. He starts to fight, and then he looks at the “watch”, which says “Ten minutes until arrival” “Not enough time…” he murmured, seeing more and more thugs coming, he fights as he took a grappling hook-type object, turns around (revealing the Batwing flying at high altitude) and shoots the hook at the Batwing. The hook retracts, and Batman flies out of the building by holding on to the gadget. (The song changes into victory-type music)
On the streets, people were walking, minding their own business. A man, sitting on a bench (Robin Williams cameo) looks up, sees Batman in midair, like the picture, and stands up, then yells, “It’s Batman!” The crowd starts murmuring; children were scared because they had not seen Batman before (because of the 8 year time lapse) the screen than pans to Selina Kyle, walking on the streets, she smiles.
Then, I woke up.
