I would like to begin off with what storylines I would like to see incorporated into the upcoming film. The most known storyline that has risen the character from ridicule is the NEW 52 comic AQUAMAN: The Trench. I would like it to be incorporated into the mix, as the story occurs after Justice League part 1. I would also like to see a Throne of Atlantis story arch which appears in the flash to have OceanMaster/Orm as a main threat. It would allow for an origin of the character to be revealed and also tie to the plot, by having Orm coming back in retribution for Orin taking over Atlantis. This would allow some character backgrounds for both characters. The Trench now being a menacing threat in the Aquaman storyline, the creatures could tie into the plot by having Ocean Master unleash them to wreak havoc in Atlantis. 

Characterization of Arthur Curry/Aquaman/King of Atlantis/Sea King

I would like to see these three names to be used to refer to Jason Momoas Aquaman. Inwhich he doesn't respond well to the name "Aquaman" given to him by the media. The reason why I added Sea King as the name is because I would like to see Momoa not be boy scout superhero. I want Momoa's version of the character to be menacing and somewhat an Anti-hero. Unlike the crime syndicate's Sea King, he should not be completely evil. Rather should be a character who you would criticize for the ways he resolves things, for comic book fans this might take apart a noble king like characterization but I believe he should be a sort of brutal king, one who is not afraid to kill. 
This would change the public ridicule for Aquaman being useless, as he is not afraid to kill unlike other members of the league. I believe this what we are going to get according to Momoa saying he would like to play an ANTI-HERO and is not really a Superhero type. So this is good.

Priyanka Chopra is an Indian actress who is well known for her role as Alex Parish in ABC's QUANTICO. She is a phenomenal actress and has won her country's National Best Actress Award (equivalent to the oscars). If you seen the indian film "MARY KOM" based on India real life boxer of the same name, you will understand how talented she is, along with how physically fit she is. She got ridiculously in shape for the role of a boxer so she would be best fit opposite with badass Momoa. They are looking for an ethnic actress for the role of Mera, so that they can have Atlantean race being a ethnically distinct race. Since Momoa is half haiwaiian and half caucasian like how Aquaman is half human-caucasian and half atlantean. This would have to make the atlantean race be tanned and more diverse like Momoa. So Chopra is a perfect fit for the role, she looks the part as shown below and is already made her mark in America with Quantico. She is more than capable of playing this role as she has done hefty badass roles already.

Faran Tahir is famous for his role as terrorist baddie in Iron Man and Captain Robau in the new Star Trek film. 

DONALD GLOVER as AQUALAD/KALDDUR'AHM
Donald Glover famously known for his role in the sitcom Community has now grown as an actor and rapper Childish Gambino. He can fit any direction they want to go with the character, if they want him as a comic relief or a witty supporting character he can do so, or if they want him to be a serious and a grounded character he can do it as well. Glover has done an exceptional job in the new film The Martian. He is also in physical shape for the character.

Orm has murder his own mother and I think she should appear in flashback sequences. She is not that old either, she made her mark with the film Life Of Pi and would pass as the mother of Momoa and Tahir.
