These are my ideas for a Live Action TV Show Set in the Avatar Universe. I think the idea has a lot of potential for a show in the style of Heroes and Misfits..
Story: The new show is set 60 years after the events of Season 2. The World is a much different place due to the Fire Nation, Earth Kingdom, Water Tribe and the Air Nomads have joined together all under one nation. The world is much more focused on technology with skyscrapers, cars and more advanced planes. Bending was outlawed due to a Great War which caused a lot of damage to the world and the death of Avatar Korra that it caused a secret organisation called the ABO ( Anti-Bending Organsation). This is a much different world. The Story starts with a Young Boy named Yang who has lived a quiet life until one day a the group of anti benders invade the village taken prisoner anyone they can find who could be a bender. The Benders kill Yang's parents and enraged he tries to fight them of with Earth and Fire Bending ( His rage is what unlocks his Avatar Powers). Releasing he is the new Avatar they bring him to the leader ( Who is secretly the son of Avatar: Korra who is a non-bender.He hats benders because according to him they were responsible for his mother's death) who tells the others than they can use him. 11 years later, Augustus age 18 is now forced to work for the group. They use his powers to subdue any benders the ABO ( Anti Bending Organisation). His only friends is a young water tribe girl called Kara and a Fellow Earth Bender named Yun .He frees Yun using Kara's blood-bending to escape.They manage to rescue two people; Blair ( A Fire Nation Female Teenager who is the son of Mako and Asami) and a Mysterious old man who is a Air Bender (Who is revealed to actually be Rohan- Tenzin's Son). Together they all mange to escape. Rohan tells Yang that he needs to master each of the elements in order to stop the ABO( Anti Bending Organisation) and restore bending to it's former glory.
Charcters:
Yang - 18 Years Old
He is a very different character from Aang and Korra . He is very smart, knowing about ancient history and he is very fascinated by his part but he always tries to figure out a different solution then fighting but he is always willing to fight if he has know choice. He is very good as sneaking around areas with out being spotted. He can be cynical at times and can get rather angry at Blair's temper.
Junes - 12 Years Old. She is shy and mysterious but also friendly girl. No one knows what her powers her and all she knows is that she can blood bend and water bending extrmel well She is extrmely shy and likes only to talk to Yang and Rohan but she grows as a person and becomes less shy.
Blair - 18 Years Old. A Fire Bender with a temper. She is the daughter of Mako and Asami (Who were killed by the ABO) She was part of the rebellion force against the anti benders but she ended up getting captured and put in prison. She hates authority and believes most problems can be solved by fighting but if you talk to her more. You would realize that she is very kind and sweeT when she wants to be
Yun - 18 Year Old. A Fellow Earth bender who met Yang when he was young. They have lived together in prison for a long time. He is always offering good advice and wants to gain to admiration of Blair but he can't due to his fairly shy nature.Yang is a genius but is slightly overconfident in his genesis to the point it can get annoying to his fellow team mates
Rohan - 60 Years Old. He is the oldest of the group and also the wisest of the group. The Spiritual Teacher of Yang the two are very similar due to both of their love for history. Rohan hates the ABO and is dedicated to getting revenge. This lust for revenge sometimes puts him at odds with the rest of the team.
