The Black Panther is the ruler of Wakanda. It's a spiritually-based warrior cult. Sort of like being pope, president, and head of joint chiefs of staff all at once. The Panther is a hereditary title, but one still has to earn it. The series of test that a Panther must pass are so arduous that only candidates who've had special training from childhood can qualify. But just so everyone gets a chance, once a year there's a day when any Wakandan can challenge the king for the throne.
T'Challa being the son of T'Chaka put him in line to be the next King of Wakanda and Black Panther, but even as young super genius T'Challa was not yet ready to become the leader of the nation, but felt his childhood ended the day his father die and that it was time to start act as a King would. So S'yan, T'Chaka's young brother & T'Challa's uncle under took the Black Panther trials. S'yan passed and became the Black Panther. During his youth, T'Challa while on his Wakandan Walkabout/Rite of passage met and fell in love with apparent orphaned teen named Ororo Munroe, and later known as a member of the X-Men, Storm. The two broke off there relationship off due to his need to avenge his father’s death & to become the type of man who could lead the nation of Wakanda, but they would see each other over the years when they could. After studying Wakanda young T'Challa traveled to other parts of Africa and Europe and to study and train. He returned home once he felt that he was ready to lead the country.
At 19 years old, T'Challa, wearing a mask, challenged the then Black Panther & King (his uncle S'yan) and and beat him in fair combat. After that T'Challa was required to take the rest of the Black Panther trials such as defeating the various champions of the 18 Wakandan tribes, being judge & found worthy by the Panther God / Bast. Next the Heart Shaped Herb/Heart of Wakanda was applied to his body and ingested by him (the process would kill any person who was unworthy or not a member of the royal line) and that process also link him to Bast. The competition of Panther trials made him a superhuman granting him has enhanced speed, agility, strength, endurance, healing, memory and senses (sight / vision, hearing, smell, etc).

As chieftain, the Panther was entitled to eat a special heart-shaped herb that granted him superhumanly acute senses and increased his already formidable strength, speed, stamina, and agility to the peak of human potential. He has recently approached the Panther God through mystical means who has made him stronger and more fit than ever before, meaning his strength and other abilities have been increased to Superhuman levels, the limit of these new powers are unknown but he was able to easily shatter machines as powerful as Doombots effortlessly with single blows.
Alchemy and ancient magicks gave him resistance to magical attacks.
Superhumanly Acute Senses: T'Challa can see in total darkness as if it was a clear sunny day, something at over a few hundred feet appears as though it is right in front of his face. T'Challa's sense of hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, enabling him to hear sounds that an ordinary human can't and to be able to hear sounds that an ordinary human can, but at much greater distances. T'Challa can memorize tens of thousands of scents and track them to the exact location, can smell fear, and detect if someone is lying by change in body odor. T'Challa's sense of taste is sensitive to the point that he is able to taste the exact ingredients of any particular food he is eating.
Peak Human Strength: The special herb has enhanced T'Challa's physical strength to the pinnacle of human perfection. While not superhuman, he is considerably much stronger than the average human and is as strong as a human can be without being considered superhuman. Black Panther has demonstrated exceptional feats of strength like wrestling down a Rhino, knocking out a Polar Bear and even stopping a Elephant's charge. He's classed at the peak of human potential.
Peak Human Speed: T'Challa is able to run and move at speeds superior to those of any Olympic athlete. He is capable of reaching speeds of 30 mph and higher.
Peak Human Stamina: T'Challa's musculature is considerably more efficient than that of an average human, or most other normal humans in general. His muscles generate less fatigue toxins than the bodies of most humans. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair him.

Master Martial Artist: He has been groomed to be a warrior from birth. An expert in practically all forms of armed and unarmed combat, and a master of all martial arts including African and unknown forms. He is a master of stealth, disguise etc. He is considered to be one of the best martial artists to have ever walked the Earth. This is evident by him being able to stalemate and even gain the upper hand at times against opponents such as Captain America, Daredevil, the Fantastic Four, etc. in hand to hand combat.
Weapons Master: The Panther has mastered all known weapons.
Master Acrobat: T'Challa is a rigorously trained gymnast and acrobat.
Expert Marksman: He is a master marksman adept with hunting knives, firearms, and other projectile weaponry.
Master Tactician: T'Challa is a genius tactician, strategist, and leader who is practically peerless. He was taught tactics and strategies in his youth by his father who encouraged him to always think two steps ahead of his enemies and three steps ahead of his friends. His prowess is such that he is able to out think and out maneuver individuals such as Tony Stark, and other geniuses.
Expert Tracker & Hunter: Even without his superhuman senses, he is a master tracker and hunter. He can pick up a prey's scent and memorize tens of thousands of individual ones.
(Equipment/Weapons)
Energy-Dampening Boots: Energy regulators create varying fields from the Vibranium in the molded soles of the boots, enabling Panther to survive a fall of several stories and land like a cat. Given enough momentum, the Panther can also scale walls or skim across water. The field can be also used offensively to shatter or weaken objects.
Vibranium Microweave Mesh: In his Panther uniform, the microweave robs incoming objects of their momentum; bullets do not ricochet off but simply fall to the ground when they come in contact with the weave. Likewise, the Panther cannot be stabbed, however, the costume (and Panther) can be cut if the attacker slashes along the uniform's grain.
Mask Lenses: Lenses in the mask cut glare and enhance the Panther's natural night vision.
Cloaking Technology: The cloak can be elongated, shortened or eliminated with a thought, and the entire costume can be covered allowing it to pass as normal street clothes.
Heavenly Armor: Lightweight body armor covering the user from head to toe in a similar fashion as Iron Man that operates by thought. It offers flight at high speeds, slightly enhanced strength,and more protection in combat.
Energy Dagger: with an ornate hilt carved of ivory or some kind of stone, and an energy-generated blade that can be set to stun or kill. The energy blades can be handled like either a physical knife or fired like darts, and regenerated repeatedly.
Anti-Metal Claws: Claws in the gloves are made of Antarctic Vibranium-based "Anti-Metal" that can break down basically all metals at the molecular level.

When leaving from a movie theater and back to home, wealthy philanthropist Thomas Wayne and his wife Martha are accompanied by their 8-year-old son, Bruce. However, unknown to them they would see their only son for one short last moment. Stepping into Park row (now called Crime Alley) out of the shadows is a masked gunman called Joe Chill who kills both Thomas and Martha in cold blood right in front of the young boy. Bruce was traumatized at the site of his parents death and his life would never be the same. After his parents' death, Bruce was raised by his wise and loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth and inherited his family's vast fortune as well as his father's company Wayne Enterprises.
Facing his parents' gravestones, Bruce made a solemn oath to be an avenger of the knight and fight crime. At the age of fourteen Bruce started his tour around the world, learning many cultures and attending the best schools around the world learning practical skills on top of academic ones. During his tour, Bruce was trained in many disciplines including hand-to-hand combat, man-hunting, criminology, forensics, gymnastics and the arts of stealth, ventriloquism, escapology and disguise. With so many skills acquired, Bruce considered joining the FBI but learned that he could never fight crime within the current legal system. He would return to Gotham City where he decided to become a vigilante but despite all his honed skills, he knew something was missing. Bruce saw criminals as superstitious and cowardly, and in order to rid Gotham of evil, he needed to transform himself into a terrifying symbol that would strike fear in the hearts of criminals. While in his father's study, a large bat came crushing in. Bruce saw this as an omen, and recalled his fear of bat as a child and decided to use the bat as his symbol. Using his vast wealth, Bruce designs a costume and state of the art equipment based on bats.
That moment, Bruce Wayne had died and an alter-ego has taken his place. To the public, Bruce Wayne is an eccentric, irresponsible, billionaire playboy but in his true identity, he is Gotham's protector and a nightmare to evil-doers, the Dark Knight, the Batman! Bruce Wayne is considered to be the mask and Batman is stated to be the real man who Bruce Wayne is. Having vast wealth and great knowledge in many different areas of crime fighting, Bruce Wayne had created a life for himself. A life which he only does to keep the promise that he made to his parents years ago. Bruce adopts many people as his partner and he leads them to a path of protecting those, who can't protect themselves.

Peak Human Conditioning: Through intense training, specialized diet, and biofeedback treatments, The Batman represented the pinnacle of human physical prowess. His physical attributes exceeded that of any Olympic level athlete that has ever completed. Strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes and coordination were at peak human perfection. Batman began his physical and mental conditioning when he was 11 and then intense physical training and weight lifting at age 12. He has mastered full body control by the time he was 18. Wayne abstains entirely from drinking alcohol, though he presented Bruce Wayne, his alter ego, as a borderline alcoholic (he created this illusion by drinking ginger ale and pretending it is champagne). Batman's refusal to drink was directly linked to keeping his body in its absolute best. Bruce Wayne, since the age of 15, has created a strict diet to enable his body to develop and operate at its most proficient, along with biofeedback treatments (using portable/non portable machines to stimulate muscles to contraction. Batman has performed amazing physical feats due to his superior physique. He engaged in an intensive regular regimen of rigorous exercise (including aerobics, weight lifting, gymnastics, and simulated combat) to keep himself in peak condition, and has often defeated opponents whose size, strength, or other powers greatly exceeded his own. He has spent his entire life in pursuit of physical perfection and has attained it through constant intensive training and determination.
Peak Human Strength: Batman regularly bench-presses at least 1000 lbs during his exercise routine.
Peak Human Reflexes: Bruce's reflexes were honed to such a degree that he has caught one of Green Arrow's arrows in mid flight when he tried to shoot him. He has also been able to dodge point blank gunfire.

Expert Marksman: Due to his training in Ninjitsu, Batman almost never misses his targets, 9/10 times he's successful. He has been practicing accuracy since the early days of his training and is almost on par with the Green Arrow in terms of accuracy.

Batsuit: The costume Batman wears is composed by kevlar and a little percentage of titanium; it's bullet-proof and resistant to various types of attack (explosions, impacts, falls, etc...). It's also flame-retarding and insulating. The gloves and the boots are reinforced to rebound the impact of punches and kicks. The gloves have also some metallic blades on their sides. The cape is super-light and it can be used to glide. The mask has a little percentage of lead, which shields the face of Batman from x-ray powers or x-ray technology; it has also an infrared viewer and auditory sensors, which improve Batman's senses. The mask, is also accessorized with some security systems (aggravating gas, electric blasts, ecc...) like the utility belt. The mask is also a transmitter receiver.
Utility Belt: Batman keeps most of his personal field equipment in a signature piece of apparel, a yellow utility belt. Over the years it has contained items such as plastic explosives, nerve toxins, batarangs, smoke bombs, a fingerprint kit, a cutting tool, a grappling hook gun, and a "re-breather" breathing device. Superman had entrusted Batman with a ring made of kryptonite, to be used should the Man of Steel ever need to be reined in (due to being mind-controlled by a villain, etc.)
