I have not played the first Bioshock. But I heard that you didn't have to play the other Bioshock games to jump into this one, and with rave reviews backing this game up, I figured it would make a decent purchase.

Money well spent my friends...Money well spent. After the game was over, I felt so emotionally worn down. I only had that experience with the Mass Effect games.

The storytelling was so brilliant in this game, it sucked me in to the point where it was hard to tell myself that I had to take a break. Personally, I was heartbroken by the ending, but the rest of the game was so good, that I got over it.

I know it works better as a game. But I think with the right people, it could make really good movie adaption.

Neil Blomkamp as the Director of Bioshock Infinite

Timothy Olyphant as Booker Dewitt

Elizabeth Olsen as Elizabeth

Scott Glenn as Zachary Comstock

Keshia Knight Pulliam as Daisy Fitzroy

Simon Baker as Robert Lutece

Cate Blanchett as Rosalind Lutece

Wouldn't Olyphant also be Comstock?

@MCott You are correct. I was trying to not spoil anything.

But when we see Comstock or the couple of times we see Dewitt, we don't see the same person.

In my opinion, if you are a director, and you want to reveal something that big to the audience and make it surprising, you can't have the same person playing two characters and reveal that they are the same character.

BRILLIANT CASTING OF The Lutece twins!

@TheSoulEater Those were the toughest to think of. At first I was going to have Guy Pearce as Robert Lutece, but I couldn't think of a good female counterpart for him, so I chose Baker, and then I thought Blanchett would be good choice, especially considering that her and Baker are the same age.

Thanks for the comment.

@DrDoom I disagree. But we all are titled to our opinions.

I thought the third game was vastly superior to its predecessors.

And as for my earlier comment, it's amazing what prosthetic and makeup can do nowadays- just to (defending my reasoning here). Look at Guy Pearce in Prometheus

@MCott You make a good point about Prosthetics, and I do understand where you are coming from. But most of the times the real thing is more convincing than the tricks of filmmaking.

Take for example, If I looked up what role Timothy Olyphant was playing and it said Booker Dewitt/Zachary Comstock (instead of just Booker Dewitt), than I'm either going to think they couldn't get anyone else to play that role or that Dewitt and Comstock are one and the same. Thus when I go to the movie theater to watch the movie, I've already predicted the big plot twist, which wouldn't have any impact on me or any audience member that searches on IMDB.

I like it. Although any cast that has Olyphant or Scott Glenn in it, is a winner in my book.

@l0rdleg0las I'm glad you feel that way. Thanks for the comment.

I love this cast, and about avoiding the plot twist, for Batman Begins Liam Neeson was listed as Ducard in alot of places to avoid spoiling that twist

@flash23 Exactly. I understand people feelings, it may seem more real if you just make the younger actor look older. But in the day and age where people can look up and see who's playing who, it would be best to have two people playing those kind of roles.
