Casting The Marvel Cinematic Universe!

It's full of ups and downs, dude.

You're Captain America Cast:

Ryan Gosling = Awesome actor. He would make an awesome DD or Iron Fist. Captain America though...it doesn't suit him.

Diane Kruger is a very underused actress. She could totally play Peggy.

Ben Barnes = Terrible actor. Not much else to be said.

Dennis Quaid isn't quite right for Fury. Maybe Willis or Russel, but not Quaid.

As for the rest of your picks in the Cap cast...all pretty sold. Maybe slightly generic, but good none the less.

Iron Man Cast:

Colin Farrell feels a little awkward for Tony. He's just...not right. I can't really put my finger on it.

Just like with Captain America, the rest of the cast seems a little generic and predictable. All really strong actors though, and in the hands of a great director, I can see good performances coming out.

Ant-Man Cast:

Aaron Eckhart is up there in my top ten favorite actors, and he is one of the few good choices for Pym. Good job :)

I'm a fan of McAdams, and certainly wouldn't complain if she was cast. The only reason I don't like her for the part is I have a very specific person I have in mind (but I don't wanna spoil it until I release my own cast ;)

Love the rest, minus Berry.

Thor Cast:

Skarsgard...kind of a cliche choice for Thor. Not really feeling it. I do think, however, that he deserves a place in the current MCU.

Redmayne I'm not impressed with. Besides, I don't think many people would be able to beat Hiddleston's Loki...and Redmayne certainly wouldn't.

I feel like Willis would be wasted on a character like Absorbing Man...maybe that's just me.

As for the rest, I don't think any are really good or bad. There just kinda...in the middle.

Hulk Cast:

Pearce is a great actor. Probably would've made a decent Banner...ten years ago. Not only is he older now, he's also gotten to a point in his career where I don't imagine he'd accept a super-hero role. Oh! And as I've said before, the ideal role for Pearce is Daredevil...but he's past being cast there as well.

Monaghan...not bad. I can see as an older, more mature Betty.

Cranston is a good actor, but doesn't seem "mousy" enough for the Leader to me.

Palicki isn't exactly skilled in the field of acting. I personally wouldn't have chosen her.

Hope you don't think I'm bashing on you man, I can tell you put some effort into this. Most fancast's these days seem kinda lazy... But anyways, you 85% of these people are excellent actors...I just think allot of them are in the wrong places.

Some misses, but perhaps some potential :)

I like the Ryan Gosling (although Steve Rodgers is not really an interesting character), Jared Harris and Bruno Ganz suggestions, also Mark Strong, Ron Perlman, Michelle Monaghan, Brian Cranston and Jamie Fox sounds great to me, but I really don't want any other actors to play the Hulk, Tony Stark or Pepper Potts or Loki - Colin Farrell as Tony Stark, come on that's ridiculous!
