OK lets jump right to the POINT, The Director and Writer has given me a chance to chat with them about the change in continuity in the Nolan-Batman universe. SHALL WE move on and see the things that Gotham Lives Director Anthony R. and Writer Alex R. wanted to change.
1. Alfred never leaves Bruce.
Instead he warns Bruce on the fear that he get's from Bane and Tries to convince him not to fight Bane and even uses Rachel in the same context as he did in the movie by telling him the truth and saying that he shouldn't be waiting for things to get worst again and to have a life outside the cave etc, but when Bruce says good bye to Alfred, Alfred simply replies:(" I wont give up on you ill try to reason with you but that's your decision now not mine"). So from that point Alfred does stick by Bruce's side in TDKR
ME: Why change that part first.
Gotham-Lives Writer Alex R. say's (" I just dont feel that Alfred would give up on Bruce like that after saying that he would ("Never" give up on Bruce") in the first movie and in a form of it in the second movie and that gave me a nit to pick.
2. Bruce's never quit being Batman in the end.
(Instead of faking his own death and having a happy ending he simply is shown flying away from the Bat and is rewarded a statue like in the movie etc).
Gotham-Lives director Anthony R. on why he changed Batman's fate and as I quote ( " Now with the ending of TDKR, I loved it i thought it was fantastic but then i started to think, if he wasn't Batman (physically and mentally)in the beginning of the Film and till he gets defeated by Bane. He had to learn to become The Batman physically and mentally again inside the pit Bane put him in and that was always a big part of the movie for me. Seeing him become Batman once more ya know in here (points toward chest)angered but then has to to believe in fear again to make the jump to FREEDOM.Then fast forward he just retires after returning to save Gotham which took around two days and i have no problem with it but it just got me wondering, I see why it ended like that because it was supposed to be the final chapter and stuff but if it was not, I guaranteed there wouldn't be the happy ending instead you would got a dark knight returns vibe ya know either staying Batman/Bruce and living the double life or faking Bruce Wayne's death and teaching Blake how to become a better fighter so he can fight along him or teach others how to become BAT-MEN, but in the end of the series over all we will use that ending (the happy ending) just as complete respect to the Series that Chris Nolan bought us. Thought since this is a Alternate Timeline The Original Nolan Series is by itself in its own pedal stool.")
When being ask about John Blake's Fate in Gotham-Lives Anthony replied ("You'll see his fate in Gotham-Lives").
3. How will Other Super Hero's fit in This Universe since it's Based in reality?
Anthony : said you'll see ( smiles)
SO! The Plot
Gotham-Lives™ takes place write after the events of TheDarkKnightRises.
As Gordon and The Batman are on the brink of stopping the Mob from rising in power again but then a new threat comes to Gotham. The Black Mask and all he wants is power and he Mob to make Gotham a living drug cartel and is willing to get any connections he wants but when he does this he awakens a "ancient" cult called The Court of Owls and they rises to take Gotham city back from the Batman,The people and Black mask and when that happens there's a War for control and Batman's in the middle of it with cops and Gordon.
