About CROSSOVER BATTLES: These battles are a series of weekly competitive polls in which I take two different comic book characters from two different universes and have them fight as you vote on the winner! The poll remains active for the week. A new CROSSOVER BATTLES article is posted every weekend.
How do I know the poll is still active?:
If you click on one of these articles and the poll is still there then the poll is still active and your vote should get counted (of course, you have to signed in). If you click on one of these articles and the poll is gone then that just means it's already over.
NOTE: Since I write these articles, I remain neutral on all polls BUT if a certain amount of days pass and a certain character has absolutely no votes whatsoever, then I will vote for that character to help even the odds (even if it doesn't do much). This isn't me being biased, but I do think both characters deserve at least one vote in every poll because I wouldn't do certain characters if I didn't think they could stand a chance against their given opponent.
LAST WEEKS RESULTS:
Nick Fury (Marvel Comics) VS Amanda Waller (DC Universe)

Nick Fury wins by 92.31%, while 7.69% of you thought the fight could go either way.
THIS WEEKS COMBATANTS:
KNIGHTFALL BATMAN's Bio:
Real name: Jean Paul Valley
Former alias: Azrael
Once a knight for the Order Of Saint Dumas called Azrael (one of many), Valley eventually joined the ranks of The Batman and what is known by fans as the "Bat Family." But after the man mountain known as Bane infamously broke The Batman physically and took over Gotham's underworld, Valley was deemed the new Caped Crusader by a newly paralyzed Bruce Wayne, who was running out of options to protect the city. Wayne's only wish is that Valley would stay away from Bane. What Wayne didn't know was that the programming in Valley's mind (placed there by The Order) was making him psychologically unstable. Growing more and more violent as the new Batman, Valley finally decided, against Bruce Wayne's wishes, to take down Bane. After a glorious conflict, Valley was barely able to defeat Bane by cutting off his Venom supply. Valley then started murdering every criminal he crossed paths with. He even began to hallucinate. But when Bruce Wayne returned, Valley refused to give up his mantel, thinking of himself as the better Batman. Bruce eventually outsmarted Valley and regained his cowl. As Knightfall Batman, Valley had upgraded Wayne's armor and arsenal into a hulking killing machine of armor, blades and other lethal weapons such as bladed baterangs, retractable daggers and a flaming sword.
THE SUPERIOR SPIDERMAN's Bio:
Real name: Otto Octavius
Former alias: Dr. Octopus
For years Spiderman was a thorn in Octavius' side. After hundreds of failed attempts to murder the wall crawler, one in particular had pinned him to his death bed. His last chance for survival, Ock switched bodies with the wall crawler, leaving Peter Parker in his dying body but not without connection. Before dying in Ocks original body, Parker's memories flashed in front of Otto's eyes while inside Parker's body. Ock's original plan had been to ruin the wall crawlers life after stealing it but after experiencing Parker's journey as a hero, he become a "Superior Spiderman," an antihero with updated gadgets, city surveillance tech and ways Otto felt were more efficient. Otto even began murdering and maiming criminals he felt deserved it. Among his victims include the Spider Slayer, Scorpion, Vulture, The Jester, Screwball and the mass murdering villain called Massacre. Otto also blackmailed the mayor into abandoning the supervillain prison called the Raft so he could use it as his headquarters and also into giving him armored and armed henchmen. He has all of the Amazing Spiderman's abilities and gadgets, and is willing to cross lines he won't but has also upgraded his gadgets: mini spider bots that watch the city when he's not around, four sharp mechanical Spiderman arms, upgraded eye piece that allows him to see whatever his bots do, and is not above taking an enemies weapon away and using it against them. Ock still has his genius intellect. Also, almost everyone buys that Octavius is the original Spiderman! They think he's just gone into a new direction. Ock's actions have even gotten Spiderman kicked off The Avengers (so much for The Avenging Spiderman, right?).
Sorry, voting on this poll has ended.
