What I Want To See

1. Make Deadpool a Continuity Scapegoat
Any fan of Deadpool knows that literally anything can happen in a Deadpool movie, so I want them to use that. "The timeline got changed because of DOFP" is lazy and shouldn't be their excuse to retcon everything fans don't like. However, fans will be more accepting if Deadpool gets ahold of some strange contraption that allows him to, for lack of a better word, "fix" the X-Men universe so the future films can do whatever they want without any limits. Some may argue DOFP already did this but whatever this is my article. By doing it this way we can get mutants that got the shaft in DOFP like Bishop, Iceman, Blink, etc. get much more screen time in the future movies while causing less confusion.

2. Give us Cable/Tie it in with Apocalypse
I know I wasn't the only one excited when I heard we may get Cable in the X-Force movie. Although a casting choice has yet to be confirmed I doubt many people would turn down the role after Fox just scored big time with the latest X-Men film and how much buzz the studio got after the Deadpool test footage was released. Any actor with half a brain would know people are excited for a Deadpool film and being in it is basically a guarenteed cashed check. On the other side, don't make this a movie JUST about Deadpool. I'm not saying shove Wolverine and Magneto in there but the movie should at least give us something like an after-credits scene with Apocalypse so we know the movie isn't a stand-alone in it's own universe.

3. Don't Limit Yourselves
What alot of people don't realize is how important a Deadpool movie will be to the comic book genre. I see many users saying "The Deadpool movie HAS to be Rated R!" and their arguemtns are very informed and persuasive. I also see alot of people who may not agree with that notion and offer persuasive arguments as well.  This film will be important to the comic book movie genre because with the level of fans support Deadpool has if it's Rated PG-13 then Marvel, Sony and DC will look at that and think "If Deadpool can't be Rated R then no comic book movie can." which is very untrue. Deadpool will lose a lot of its charm if it's PG-13 but that doesn't necesarily mean it will suffer film-wise. My opinion is, release two versions of the film to theaters. Kids can go see the Merc with a Mouth and the grown-ups can too, meaning Fox won't be losing anything since they're playing on both sides of the board. Did you love the Deadpool test footage? I don't know anyone who didn't but that test footage was PG-13 believe it or not.  Plus it'sd be hard for Deadpool to get a R Rating no matter how gory since he can regenerate.

Well that is all I have time for today I hope you enjoyed this quick little editorial by yours truly.
