Dungeons & Dragons was an animated television series based on TSR's Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. A co-production of Marvel Productions and TSR, the show originally ran from 1985 through 1987 for three seasons on CBS for a total of twenty seven episodes.

The show told the story of six teens who were magically transported to a realm of magic, monsters and everlasting turmoil. Since the first show the kids spent all their time trying to find a way home, but they were constantly sidetracked by ogres, ghost, and monsters. They had a guide in this fantasy land, his name was The Dungeonmaster, and he used his sorcery to teach the kids life lessons. The show was cancelled before the very last episode was made. Apparently this Dungeonmaster had the ability to send the teens home at any time. I figure the children discovered this secret fact and killed him. We will never know.

These guys are a little older than the show kids because on the show the kids ranged from 7-15 and as much as I try, I just can't see these young kids running around this dangerous land and surviving, let alone learning a thing or two. I chose pretty well known actors because this movie needs to draw in kids and adults. I also listed a couple movie credits of each actor. I use these for comparison with the type of characters they will play in this movie.
