FAN CAST: Extra additions to 6of13's Captain America Photo Gallery

6of13's choice for Captain America.

Recently, a number of other actors have been fan cast as Captain America. LEEE777 chose Michael Weatherly and Ryden cast Aaron Eckhart. Teddy Sears is MistressKazuna's choice. I now add my own new candidate into the line-up. I choose Scott Porter. His credits include Friday Night Lights and Prom Night. He has an athletic build and does not have any over-whelming star-power.

Porter's not a bad choice for super hero films but after seeing him in Speed Racer, he's not imposing enough to play Cap. Teddy Sears looks like a penis. Eckhart is the best OLD Cap choice but Weatherly is actually a decent looking choice. I just haven't seen him act yet.

I like Scott Porter, just not for Cap, though he's definitely my choice for Barry Allen.

I haven't seen Weatherly act, but he does have a good look, though he may be too old.

Eckhart is way too old, and I don't buy him as a soldier.

I haven't seen Sears act, though he does also have a good look.

out of the 4 guys you have up there, I think Scott Porter is the best one up there...I can see him playing Cap, he does have the look.

The others I just dont them as the Cap.

nice choices though.

I have not watched Speed Racer. I cast Porter 'cos he does look the part. I just want to see an actor in the role of Cap that when I watch the movie I see the character and not the actor. Case in point, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
