So everyone wants Superman vs. Brainiac (that's not the title) to be MOS2.

But there is a small group who are asking for something else before that, or for a MOS3, and this is a great story that I really like, and would be interesting to see int eh DCEU with its version of Superman: Superman vs. The Elite.

Thoughts?

@Binker - I absolutely love that story! But I'd counter that the animated version is pretty much perfect.

If a live action version were to take place, I'd at least want to see some roster changes to the Elite. Oh, of course we should keep Manchester, but maybe we can fill out the team with some Superman villains that may not make the cut to film otherwise. Don't get me wrong--The Hat, Menagerie, and Coldcast are fantastic, but this would at least give viewers soemthign new to see. Here are a few that come to mind:

Atomic Skull
Livewire
Silver Banshee
Toyman

@TheRose - I was more talking about the story, not the cast. Given this is the DCEU Superman, and post-BvS, would that movie be a risk?

You had me up until Vin Diesel as Braniac. The man can barely speak, let alone act. The best versions of Braniac don't have him with a bag of marbles in his mouth.

Callan Mulvey was already KGBeast. No way he can be metalo too. I like the casting other than him and 'LL Cool J.

@RancidBane - I already changed to Callan Mulvey and Ll Cool J for other options. ...I would like to know what you think the new

@MasterSpock - I like Chestnut a lot and Worthington is hit or miss with me. For Metalo I would go with someone less obvious in the physical realm. I would go with a smaller guy that seems less intimidating, but ends up being the ultimate fear of Superman. I like that kind of duality. Someone like a Doug Jones type.

@RancidBane - ¿Now tell me what you think?

@MasterSpock - Well it's fun to see Superman go toe to toe with big brutes that are like him, i.e. zod, but I love it when the meek are more than they appear. Having him fight against the somewhat physical inferior is interesting. When superman fights a slender frail looking individual and it turns out to be his worst nightmare it is fascinating. It let's the world he lives in know that anyone can be a threat not just the powerful. That is part of the reason I love Lex Luthor so much. He is just a man but the perfect counter to Superman.

@RancidBane - So I guess you liked Doug Jones's choice as Metallo. ...even to have a certain resemblance to the version of the series of Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), personally I would have imagined it more like Man-Bat/Krik Langstrom in The Batman by its work in Hellboy and the Labyrinth of the Faun, without But I admit that I would also be an excellent Metallo assuming that they adapt it in Man of Steel 2

@MasterSpock - he is just a great actor that has a non threatening build to him. I prefer metalo to be that hidden weapon that Lex has up his sleeve. So someone who is built like him just makes sense. I honestly thought Scoot McNair was going to be Metalo disguised in the wheel chair when he was cast in BvS.

I honestly think Brainiac is the way they are going to go in MoS 2. All you need for that is a voice/cgi actor. I would go Andy Serkis or Toby Kebell personally.

@RancidBane - I hope they soon introduce Metallo/John Corben in the DCEU, and with the appearance of Brainiac I think that the right opportunity can be given to do so. ...and with Lex (Jesse Eisenberg) can build it based on the Kryptonian technology they have at their disposal, in my vision Brainiac would be the perfect blend of brain and muscle, a being as brilliant as Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) And as strong as Superman (Henry Cavill), with a level of technology comparable to that of Darkseid, personally my favorite version is the one appearing in Superman: The Animated Series which is a 100% cyborg, the problem that version is too much copy of Ultron (James Spader) and I think DC prefers not to risk being accused of plagiarism or anything, Vin Diesel was in fact not a preferred option for Brainiac, in fact my favorite choice is Benedict Cumberbatch to adapt the version of Superman: The Animated Series , although surely DC Films will adapt the version of Superman Unbound and Geoff Johns, for I think that an actor like Vin Diesel is the one who comes closest to that version, at least physically, at the actoral level I worry Upa like all, but unless they make it look like Thanos (Josh Brolin) I see very difficult to adapt well to the character
