Now with numerous, official & unofficial pictures released, anticipation for some footage is at a fever pitch. With the knowledge that the Super Bowl will be the first (possibly first place unless YouTube gets it) place we get to see footage from Captain America, you can bet it’ll be special. How special? Well we ourselves have to judge that with our own tastes. As we all have our own suggestions/details/specificities that we want to see in the film, let alone in the TV spot and first full trailer... I personally have a few suggestions on what we possibly can and IMHO what we should see. Since this is the TV Spot, a Super Bowl TV Spot no less, time is money. Literally.
With only 30 seconds to show about 100 million viewers a tent pole film, what can they show? Well with only that amount of time obviously not that much what kind of tone they will go for in the TV spot, isn’t known but to market to a wider audience, I believe they will go the ‘action’ route. What I believe the footage will show is a ‘warm’ opening with Cap talking about fighting for his country, no matter how small he is (show him going into the chamber) and then we see jump cuts (obviously) of action sequences from throughout the film, with Cap’s voice over talking how hard War is, and how the spirit of America must be upheld, no matter how bleak it looks.
And to end it all, the last few cuts show an action sequence or character ‘reactions’ from Bucky to Peggy to Dr. Zola to Johann Schmidt to Dum Dum to Stark to Col. Chester Phillips to Dr. Erskine, the ending voice over should be the same from the comic con trailer, and have it say “Today We Must Create The Finest Army In History, And Every Army Starts With One Man”. BOOM. full reveal of Chris Evans as Captain America with shield in hand or raised in the air (ala a lot of comic book panels). Credits. Pause The DVR & Rewind over 10times.
