FAN-ticizing: The White Queen Solution

FAN-ticizing: The White Queen Solution

We just received our first look of the X-Men: First Class there are some who is giving it a chance but there is a bigger group who is screaming bloody murder. Me, I am just thinking how they could tie this up with the other movies.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine we see Wolverine liberating mutants in Stryker’s facility, one of them is the teenage sister of Silverfox, which explicitly stated in the end credits as Emma Frost. Only power she showcased here is turning her skin into diamond, none of the telepathy. Last we see her in the movie is boarding the X-Copter with a bald Professor X.

Now we have the first pictures of X-Men: First Class the Prof. is sporting a full head of hair and we see a more mature and fully grown Emma Frost. I would assume that First Class happened before the events of Wolverine (‘cept for the montage in the beginning which we see Logan and Creed in their past lives).

So, what gives? Does the Professor know Emma before Stryker captured her, if he did why telepathically communicate with Cyclops if you have another telepath around whom you know before? If that is the case why does she look older in First Class than in Wolverine?

My idea or copout is that they are different characters. One who can turn to diamond and I am hoping that the character in First Class is only a telepath. What they can do in a future storyline is to combine this character into one being that has telepathy and can turn her skin into diamond (this happens in the comics, where characters mind can be moved from one body to another). This is my IDEA, what’s yours?

I 'FAN-ticize' about Emma all the time....

Anyways, I think you're right, this seems like the most logical explanation.

it has already been stated that emma in first class is emma's mother in origins (and subsequently silverfox's mother and wolverine's mother-in-law. lol).
