Fancast Fantastic Four

Fancast Fantastic Four

An expertly thought out casting of Fantastic Four.

A new reboot of Fantastic Four is gonna happen. Here's the cast I think should run it.

First up is Mr. Fantastic. Hugh Dancy has sold me with his intellectual character Will Graham on Hannibal. Reed Richards Should be serious and scatterbrained. Dancy has this.

Second is Human Torch. Donald Glover, Funny, talented, and wants to be a hero badly, he would kill as Torch. Imagine Community's Troy as Johnny Storm arguing with my choice for Ben Grimm AKA The Thing.

Third is Invisible Woman.Zoe Saldana is everyone's choice for Storm,I think she would make a better Sue Storm. Since I put Glover as Torch we would need an actress who could play his older sister. Zoe has shown with the hundreds of action flicks under her belt she can be a tough chick.

Fourth, The Thing. Mark Wahlberg would lend a perfect voice for ol' blue eyes from Yancy street. Wahlberg has shown he can be tough or funny, and Ben Grimm is both.

The Villain, simple. Dr. Doom. Benedict Cumberbatch is an amazing choice, his voice is terrifying and he isn't so vain that we would have to see his face constantly. A perfect choice for the mental rival the Fantastic Four Victor Von Doom.

I went with a mid to late thirties cast and a late 20's on Johnny. I think that this is the minimum age for a group of people in there respective fields to be where they are at. What do you guys think?

Just wanted to add. I know some people get bent out of shape about the race thing. Think about it though, wouldn't the Black Panther attraction seem cooler if she was black? He comes in a symbol of African pride and tells her he can make her a princess. I think it would make an excellent story. Namor has always seemed vaguely Asian to me as well. Like Donnie Yen maybe.

If there was going to be a Black johnny Storm, he'd be good.

Zoe's already playing Gamora though

so I'd say Paula for Susan

- Haven't watched Hannibal yet (I wait for recent series to become available on DVD; [frick] commercials).
- Like TheSoulEater said, Zoe Saldana's already playing Gamora. But Paula Patton might be pimp for the role. Nice find on those pics, SoulEater. Patton's breasts are just amazing!
- I think Michael K. Jordan is already playing Johnny Storm, so I think we're taking Donald Glover out of the equation. Besides, I don't see Glover being a full-on asshat.
- I too thought of Mark Wahlberg as The Thing. But the Boston thing might get be in trouble. Heck, I thought of Ben Affleck in the role (Wizard Magazine had a special casting call with the same idea), but I got critiqued for using a Bostonian. But after Pain & Gain, this might be the role for him to snag!
- Something tells me casting Cumberbatch in villain roles is going to grow old. I see him as Mr. Sinister more than Dr. Doom. But, to each his own.

Great job with this cast. By the way, would you come check out my casts? The series are foreign to you (unless Seth MacFarlane's shows are your thing), but you'll love the acting ensemble in all three of them.

- Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
- Titan Maximum
- Family Guy & American Dad

Apparently people are really liking the idea of Storm sinlings being african-american.

Love everything but Marky Mark as the thing. Glover can do funny and cocky, and Zoe's got the stern big sis thing going on. Cumberbatch would be a great DOOOOOOM.

I like your Reed pick the most though, thats a really hard one to cast and Hugh Dancy is highly under seen and talented actor that could be perfect for reed.

I love it, but yeah the one problem is yeah as already stated by @thesouleater is that Saldana is already Gamora

Good cast though you should expand it to more FF characters

The SoulEater@

YES to Patton I have a thing for her a chose her as Talia in a Batman fancast. If the siblings must be black then yes to her.

I think these 2 are the only acceptable race change as the team only has the 4 and aside from BP everyone's white and Namor could be a few things. BP should stick to Avengers anyway.

I like it. Especially Ben, Reed, and Doom.

I like Glover but he's pushing the age limit for Johhny because he turns 30 in September.

Saldana would be great as Sue but she's Gamora and Uhura.
