The Story
Reed Richards is a young genius that works for Baxter Technology Developments. Ben Grimm is the Head of Security at BTD and is also Reed's roommate. Dr. Franklin Storm is their boss and the head scientist at BTD. His daughter, Sue, is a biochemist and works with Reed. Though she's about 5 years older than Reed, he has a huge crush on her.Their boss is Dr. Arthur Molekevic and he also works with them in the lab along with Proffesor Rhona Burchill. Johnny, Sue's brother is not as smart as his sister and is working as an intern/test subject while he finishes school. Reed has been working on the same project for 6 years which is Trans-Dimensional Transportation and Teleportation. The problem is that he has not been able to find a way to travel back until his colleague, Victor Van Damme, cracks the code. A few months later, Reed and his team begin experimentation in a facility in the Nevada desert. In a completely enclosed warehouse Reed built a machine large enough to hold the electricity needed for teleportation. The warehouse was insulated by rubber to keep the people outside the warehouse safe in the case of an explosion or a mass emission of electricity or radiation. At the time of the experiment, Reed, Sue, Victor, and Johnny are inside the enclosed room. Initially, they were going to teleport an apple to the Baxter Building in New York. When starting up the machine, one up the two beams holding it up explodes along with the computer attached but it continues to run. Ben, worried about their safety, turns on the fire sprinklers and tries to evacuate the room. The second he enters the room, the machine opens a wormhole and it sucks in the entire warehouse, with the 5 people inside, and a large part of the ground, forming a huge pitt. The five people were scattered across the globe. Reed was found fifty yards away though he seemed to have had his entire body stretched and uncontrollable. The Army located Ben in a desert near Mexico city and he seemed to have had his entire body covered in rocks. Johnny was found by French civilians and was sent to the ICU in a nearby hospital since his entire body was on fire and unconscious. Sue was the only one that actually made it to the destination point in New York and seemed to have no side effects from Reed's machine. Victor was found in a comma, completely burned, and missing two limbs . Reed and Franklin begin testing on the four subjects. When an object goes through the teleporter, its molecules are separated then reconstructed at the end so when the machine got damaged the molecules were reconstructed incorrectly. When electromagnetically testing Sue, he notices that she has made a field surrounding her body and is turning invisible. Sue's body had been radiated and seemingly evolved thousands of years to that as a defense mechanism, her skin can camouflage with its surroundings while she can also release large amounts of electromagnetic energy being able to form a barrier or a force field of all sizes depending on how well she can control it. Johnny's cells had been mutated to where they emitted methane and flames, though could only be triggered when in danger. He later found a way of commanding his powers by using a trigger phrase that his mind recognized which was "flame on" or "flame off". Ben had gotten an impenetrable exoskeleton that was in the form or rocks. His mass, size, and strength had also grown substantially. Reed's effects were different in that he was transformed into a mass of pliable cells and it was not a survival adaptation but evolution.
Reed tried to figure out ways to construct separate suits that be worn by each of the four and adjust to their different abilities. When testing out the suits, the Baxter Building is attacked by ______________________ . I'm struggling to get past the 40% of the story mark since most of the F4 villains are extremely unrealistic. (that's what I got, comment suggestions and story plot ideas)
Reboot Fancast
Reed Richards - Anton Yelchin
This actor can play an intellectual while he can also play a hero so in my opinion he's perfect for the role and also humanizes it. Ioan Gruffud was only chosen for the first series because he looks exactly like Reed Richards and nothing else.
Dr. Susan Storm - Alice Eve
Unlike all the other options that I considered for this role, Jennifer Lawrence stood out to me because she can play a smoking hot Invisible Woman and also a smart scientist unlike Jessica Alba, which you could tell had no business in a laboratory.
Johnny Storm - Garrett Hedlund
This Character is meant to be around Reed's age which Garrett Hedlund would fit perfectly. He's already played a rebellious hero in Tron. He also has decent acting skills to pull it off and actually looks like he could be Susan's sibling unlike Jessica Alba and Chris Evans in the original series.
Ben Grimm - Karl Urban
Karl has the voice, the size, and the attitude for this role. Karl can be essential to the movie because he can add that comedic take on his unusual features. Also, most importantly, HE ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE BEN GRIMM AND ISNT SOME 45 YEAR OLD TV ACTOR. Now in days you would use CGI for this character to make him 8 ft tall like in the comics and not have to result to a 5'7 like Michael Chiklis.
Dr. Franklin Storm - Richard Gere
A great, smart, and perfectly casted actor that can bring a realistic aspect to the film.
Dr. Arthur Molekevic - Andy Serkis
Andy Serkis is a British actor best known for playing Gollum in LOTR as well as King Kong, and Caesar in Rise of TPOTA. He would play a great villain and would be done with CG.
Proffesor Rhona Burchill - Halle Berry
Halle Berry can play an intellectual as well as a villain and a "bad girl" evident from Catwoman.
Federal Agent Lumpkin - Simon Baker
Phenomenal actor who has a lot of experience playing Federal Agents.
Dr. Victor Van Damme - Benedict Cumberbatch
He's got the look, the acting ability, the look of a genius, as well as the ability to play a villain. 'Nuff Said.
