Every fan has been excited since it's been announced that Spider-Man will be part of the MCU. Well I figure I'd go looking for what they're wanting, these are all more or less wild card choices, but I figured I'd have fun with speculation on who could play Spider-Man. Give a Look at some of the wild card picks I'd audition for the role of Marvel's Amazing Spider-Man.

As Usual I'd ask that you look at each and every candidate. I know there will be choices you hate, but hopefully there will be choices you like. Thanks for Reading...

Peter Parker/Spider-Man [Height: 5' 9", Age: Teens]: Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider in high school, and the spider bite caused him to develop abilities powers similar to that of a spider. He was soon able to crawl up walls and sense imminent danger, and eventually even developed his own method of creating webs to swing from. Upon the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter decided that 'With Great Power comes Great Responsibility, and thus became Spider-Man. Always the underdog, Peter is routinely out-manned and out-gunned, but still manages to throw in wise-cracks between punches, and usually comes out on top in the end.

Christopher Mintz-Plasse [Height: 5' 8", Age: 25, Notable Works: Kick Ass, Get A Job, Neighbors]: I know this is a choice that kills it for a lot of people. Personally I think he'd be perfect. He's got the right voice for Spider-Man, right Build, and he's a talented performer. He's really grown as an actor, and isn't so over the top with his "nerdy" persona anymore. He's more culturally bound and would play a modern Peter Parker. He's young enough to pose as a High School or College student, and he's not hideous. I really think he could play Spider-Man. All I can say is if you saw him perform a scene as Spider-Man I think it would turn everyone around.

Daniel Radcliffe [Height: 5' 5", Age: 25, Notable Works:  Harry Potter {Franchise}, Horns, What If {Released Internationally as "The F Word"}]: Daniel is a pretty damn good actor. He's risen to fame via Harry Potter and has since chosen roles that has been of artistic nature. But He can play a hero, he can give a strong performance, and he's a perfect age to play a College aged or 20 year old "adult" Spider-Man. He's given a great deal of quality performances, and his name is a good Box Office Draw, the Novelty alone of "Harry Potter is Spider-Man!" Would draw in a huge crowd and garner a lot of media attention. If his accent is a problem to you, check out this clip of his performance in Horns, showcasing a flawless American Accent: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6Oo3m…

Ken Baumann [Height: 6' 1", Age: 25, Notable Works: Secret Life of the American Teenager, The Cottage, Whore]: He's a pretty damn good actor, for having been in Secret Life, and he's grown. He's certainly shown talent in front of the camera, has a strong working with Disney {via ABC Family, a subsidiary of the Walt Disney Corporation}. He's certainly young enough to portray a High School student, and he's got a very "adult" view point. He would certainly play an Iconic modern take on the Spider-Man Character {presumably the version displayed in the early issues of Ultimate Spider-Man, by Brian Michael Bendis.}

Nolan Gould [Height: 5' 6" {As Displayed by IMDb}, Age: 16, Notable  Works: Modern Family, Friends with Benefits, Space Buddies]: A smart, talented, and young actor. Nolan has seen much praise playing Luke Dunphey in "Modern Family." An actor who is perfect age wise for Spider-Man especially with the intent of having the character play a multi-film commitment, as well he has the physicality for it, and is certainly a talented performer. Known for playing "Dumb Luke" this guy is a Member of the High-Genius society Mensa, which he has been a member of since he was Four. There is no doubt he would play a perfect Spider-Man, and a spectacularly intelligent and fun Peter Parker. It helps that he actually resembles the character as drawn by both Mark Bagley's and Sara Pichelli's takes on Ultimate Peter Parker. Should the reboot debut in 2017, with a shooting schedule of 2016, he will be 18 at the time of filming and 19 at the debut. Very much an impressive actor to look at for the role. He's my personal favorite for the role.

Joel Courtney [Height: 6' 0", Age: 19, Notable Works: Super 8, Dear Eleanor, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn]: Joel is a fantastic young actor. Having seen much fame for a dynamic performance in the J.J. Abrams Film "Super 8." He has since proven able to really blaze his own path. He's got a strong performance record, has shown a lot of promise and is certainly an attractive star to younger women. He's got the right attitude and comedic beats that make him a wonderful pick to pick up the mask of Spider-Man.

Troye Sivan [Height: 5' 8",  Age: 19, Notable Works: Spud, X-Men Origins Wolverine, Spud 2: The Madness Continues]: Troye is as much an unknown actor as you can get. He's good, and he's got a lot of promise to him, and I think him having a history of working with Marvel, I say give him a shot. He has the right look, the right essence to play Spider-Man and has certainly been able to apply a sense of Comedic timing. He'd be a great Spider-Man.

Connor Jessup [Height: 5' 11", Age: 20, Notable Works: Falling Skies, Blackbird, The Saddle Club]: A very talented young actor, Connor has made a mark in TNT's Alien Drama "Falling Skies." Showcasing strong Dramatic talent as well as the ability for fast paced action. He's got a strong sense of talent as an actor and could be a great Spider-Man given the opportunity. He's a strong enough actor I'm sure fans would love for the role.

Colin Ford [Height: 5' 10", Age: 18, Notable  Works: Under the Dome, We Bought a Zoo, Supernatural]: Colin has grown a lot since he started to gain recognition in Supernatural. In Under the Dome he's certainly made a mark that holds him as being one of the more popular cast members. Before Co-Starring in the Hit  Series, he had a strong family friendly performance in "We Bought A Zoo." With the sense of humor, action abilities, and youth on his side, he stands as one of the most viable candidates for the role of Spider-Man. He might not be a household name but he is certainly an actor strong enough for the role.

What do you think? Could any of these become the MCU Spider-Man, or are better actors out there?

Nice finds. I didn't know Nolan Gould was part of Mensa. I wouldn't mind seeing him as Spidey! Same with Colin Ford too!

The Spider-Man fancasts on this site have all been unoriginal garbage. Literally just a list of males age 15-25.

Not feeling a lot of the choices.

Radcliffe would be awesome though.

Alfie Enoch or Tyler Posey are my picks.
