HBO's The Batman Season 1 Episode 2 - Masks of Gotham

So I decided to make this article and share with you my little fan fic series The Batman. Of course I want this series to premiere at HBO and not CW or Fox, to make it more grounded and dark and to give it a better budget and to make it only from 8 to 10 episodes per season.. NOT 20+ episodes. I hope you guys enjoy this as I enjoyed imagining it in my head for the past couple of months! If you like it I will of course continue this fan fic series. Enjoy! (hopefully).

2. Masks of Gotham : After Bruce Wayne rescued Maroni, Jim Gordon, Barbara and the rest from Falcone's hitmen, he returned injured and a bit beaten. He told Alfred to schedule a party in his house. A special "Welcome Back" party for Bruce. Alfred questions Bruce's demand, telling him "Are you sure you don't want to delay it for next week? You're still hurt master Wayne." In which Bruce answers "If I can act all good and mr. sunshine to the world.. Don't you think that I can act perfectly unhurt?".

Roman Sionis is talking to Maroni. Roman is acting all "concerned" and "worried" telling Maroni "How do you feel? How did it all happen?" Maroni responses "That son of a bitch Falcone, he thinks that he can wack me?! Who does he think he is?!" Sionis asks Maroni "And the Masked Man, what did he look like?" Maroni answers "How the hell should I know?! The lights were gone, he appeared and disappeared." Sionis brings out his special gun "I swear to you, I'm gonna kill Falcone before he attempts to kill you again, Just give me 5 or 6 of your men, and consider it done." Maroni agrees telling him "You do this, and you will become my main guy."

Jim Gordon is visiting the Falcone's hitmen at the jail, brings a chair and sits down "Look, I know that your boss is Falcone and I know that he and Maroni have zero love or respect for each other... But what I don't understand is why last night? Out of all the times and places you chose the restaurant last night. You see, that got me thinking that Maroni supposed to go quickly. Which means he did something bad to your boss... Now if you tell me what really happened and give me all the details that you can, then maybe just maybe your time in jail won't be as long as you think." One of the hitmen responses "We don't know what you're talking about." Jim is nodding his saying "I gave you a chance to get out early, And I know you all want that great deal... But you need time to think, I will come back visit tomorrow. Be smart and think hard." As soon as Jim turns around and starts leaving one the hitmen says "Don't waste your time commissioner, we won't say anything... we're not rats." Jim gets a bit angry and leaves.

Barbara calls her father (Jim Gordon), he answers and she tells him "Is this really necessary? There are literally 2 cops outside the front door and 2 cops at the backyard." Jim answers "Yes it is necessary darling, last time you were in danger you were lucky enough to have me there with you, now I can't leave you all alone." She responses "Well technically the Masked Man saved both of us." Jim responses "That doesn't mean you don't need police officers.. Baby, I got to go right now, stay safe."

Bruce gets dressed for the party, Alfred comes in telling Bruce "The guests have arrived master Wayne... I don't know what's worst, preteding that you didn't get stabbed or pretending that you care for the party." Bruce responses "That was harsh Alfred... Though, me pretending to care for the party isn't pretending... It's the reason why I came back to Gotham." Goes to the main party room, shakes hands and welcomes people. Tells people to listen to him for 2 minutes "How's everybody doing? I know, it's weird to see another Wayne talking right now.. I'm lying if I said that I travelled across the world to study. Because I didn't. But, what I did is learn what other cultures do in there lifetime, how they communicate with one another.. I learned how to change and adapt. That's the main reason why I returned to Gotham." looks at Alfred "I want to make a difference to this city.. my city." looks at the guests "To make Gotham a better place to live in.. That's why I'm donating $500,000!" people get shocked "And I swear to you donating 1 dollar helps a lot.. To a better future, a better Gotham. Thank you." people clap.

While Bruce is surounded by amused people, shaking his hands and discussing his vision, someone calls his name "Bruce Wayne!" Bruce turns around, the guy says "Harvey Dent, district attorney." shakes Bruce's hand. "That speech was truely spectacular! That really inspired me, I'm definitely donating, though it's not gonna be half a million" both Harvey and Bruce laugh. Bruce responses "As I said 1 dollar is really helpul." Harvey replies "I'm glad that you came back... between you and me this city has really gone downhill... I wanted to make difference years ago but no one was there to support, but it looks like I finally have found that one who has the same vision as I do." Bruce smiles and tells him "I'm glad that we could do this, excited to work with you in the future." Alfred tells Bruce that there's something important he needs to know. Bruce excuses Harvey. Alfred tells Bruce "There's a heist at the Gotham City Bank, now I don't encourage to go. Let he police do there jobs and have fun here." Bruce responses "Oh I will be having fun." Goes to put on the costume.

Bruce as Batman arrives at Gotham City Bank. He is at the roof, looking at who is attempting the heist. He notices 6 armed men and a skulled masked man. Batman turns the lights off but the skulled masked man has some extra lightning with him. The skulled masked man says "Oh not this time freak! Where are you at?? Come face me like a man!" Batman uses the batarangs to make them unarmed. He finally jumps from the roof to one of the men, knocking him out. The other five try to attack Batman, he quickly uses smoke to attack four of them, but one of them tries to grab the gun to shoot Batman, Batman kicks him in the head. Finally, facing the skulled masked man. The skulled man is a bit scared, tells Batman "You don't want to touch me! If you do, your life is ruined!" The cops finally arrive, Batman is a bit distracted by them, which gives the skulled masked man a chance to attack him. He attacks him by hitting him with his gun handle, the gun is Sionis's special gun. A helicopter arrives picking the skulled masked man. He tell Batman "It was a pleasure knocking you down, freak!" he leaves the building. Jim Gordon enters and sees Batman knocked down. He helps him by picking him up and drops him outside in the back, telling him "Leave.. now!" Cops are calling Gordon's name he turns around to answer "Be right there" Turns back and Batman is vanished.
