Peter Parker is a young boy who was bitten by a radioactive spider which give him spider powers, with these new powers he decides to beome SPIDER-MAN
The movie starts with Spider-Man swinging through New York as he tells the public how he became a superhero (The scenes will be seen in screen as he makes the narrator).
He tells he was a bullied lonely boy in his High School (scenes featuring Flash Thompson/Gwen Stacy and more...) and that one day was invited to a science experiment involving radiation when a spider, that was radiated, bit him giving him powers of a spider. The scene jumps to the moment when, after finishing an actuation as the Amazing Spider-Man, a thief that he hadn't stopped kills his grandfather and he decides to become a superhero.
This leads us to the present, he is swinging to a bank where the infamous Vulture announced he would make his biggest attack, challeging the police forces to stop him. When the police, leaded by Captain Stacy, see Spidey they think he is a Vulture ally and start shooting at him. When Spidey sees the Vulture coming he tries to fight but, as he can't fly, he doesn't stop to fall every time and is defeated by the Vulture, who succeds in his robbery.
The following day, still wounded by the fight, he goes to his first Unifersity class where he meets Harry Osborn and discovers that his bully goes to the same faculty as him, not all are bad news as his love interest Gwen Stacy goes to the same class as him. After classes he goes to the Daily Bugle where he works as a photographer. When he finally arrives home, instead of going through the streets of Manhattan trying to capture some low thread criminals he starts to think on how to defeat the Vulture and starts to make a new device for it (Magnets!). After some normal days, we see Parker and Osborn friendship begin, Peter trying to flirt with Gwen and surprisingly talking with Flash, the Vulture makes another announcement, he goes to stop him and succeeds, but neither the Police or JJJ (Daily Bugle) stop doubting of him.
Some days later Jameson sends him to take photos a "sandy" attack near to a child park where the sand started to attack people. After taking some photos of the san all over the street he sees how the sand rises turning into a man who tells him that he is the most powerful man in the city and that nobody could stop him and makes Peter take a photo of him to warn the city about the danger of the Sandman. Peter then goes to the Bugle to give the photos to Jameson and goes out as Spider-man to stop the Sandman. He finally defeats him, ending very wounded, by wetting him and turning him into mud.
