DISCLAIMER FOR DISCLAIMER: I really didn't want to do this but because of some experience doing these things..... I just got to.
DISCLAIMER: This is not real. This will never end up on actual film. This is my personal choices for the cast of a Justice League film, so be kind and enjoy.
# JUST FOR ARGUMENTS SAKE I'M GOING TO PUT THE AGES OF MY ACTORS NEXT TO THIER NAMES SO NO ONE THINK I'M CASTING KIDS, BUT REAL ADULT WHO CAN CARRY FRANCHISES.
THE LEAGUE
Batman/Bruce Wayne
Jared Padelecki, 30
Anyone whose seen this guy act knows the he kicks ass in pretty much everything. Jared has the looks for Bruce, and the ability and physicality to portray Batman. In my opinion there is no better suited for the role.
Superman/Clark Kent
Matt Cohan, 30
For those of you who are into to crappy teen dramas, you might remember Matt from The N's "South Of Nowhere" and like me others will know him as young John Winchester from "Supernatural". It took me a long as time to find the guy to play Supes. I wanted someone who could act for one and had the right all-American look, plus I wanted to be original, not easy. So like I do every time I'm blocked, I put on my "supernatural" DVD and veged for a couple of days, Then I saw Matt and was like "duh". He's the right age, an appropriate height and the more I looked at him, the more I saw Clark Kent.
# OKAY, NOW THERE IS TWO THINGS I WANT TO GET STRAIGHT. ONE, I AM AWARE THAT BOTH JARED AND MATT HAVE BEEN ON "SUPERNATURAL", NOW IN THE PAST I WOULD'VE CHANGED ONE OF THEM BECAUSE I TRY TO REFRAIN FROM USING PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN IN THE SAME MOVIE OR TELEVISION SHOW TOGETHER AND OR HAVE ALREADY BEEN IN A SUPERHERO RELATED PROJECT, BUT THEY ARE JUST TOO PERFECT FOR THIER RESPECTIVE PARTS, SO SCREW IT. NOW TWO, I'M SURE ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE GONNA GET ON MY ASS ABOUT MY BATMAN BEING WAY TALLER THAN MY SUPERMAN. WHILE JARED'S 6'5 IS A SUBSTANCIAL HEIGHT DIFFERECE FROM MATT'S 6'1, THE WAY I FIGURE IT SUPERMAN IS STIL SUPERMAN AND HE CAN STILL KICK ANYONES ASS,SO HIM BEING SHORTER WON'T BE A FACTOR.
Flash/Barry Allen
Patrick J. Adams, 31
This one was pretty difficult. I wanted someone who looked the part, but also had the "thing" that makes Barry such a great character, so I finally landed on Adams. Most of you guys might know Adams from his role on USA's "Suits" in which he plays a genius slacker who get hired as a lawyer even thou he never went to law school. I Thinks Adams would make a great flash because he has great sense of humor, and you would never lose confidence that he is a very intelligent person.
Green Lantern/John Stewart
Mike Colter, 36
Originally I was going to try and cast for Hal Jordan, but I couldn't find the right fit for him, so I decided to try my hand at Stewart and that's when I found Colter. Colter has been in A LOT of things over the years, but I just recently came to know of him from his role in FOX's"The Following". Colter has a good look to him and a very no nonsense presence to him and I think it would fit well with Stewart.
Aquaman/Arthur Curry
Travis Fimmel, 33
This one was fairly easy for me to cast. A lot of people either dislike or hate the character of Aquaman. They see him as a joke and he would have know place on the big screen, but I see Aquaman as a badass subterranean warrior, like a mix between Maximus from "Gladiator" and Thor. I chose Fimmel because of his looks for one, but really because of his role as Ragnar Lodbrok in the history channel's hit show "Vikings". Fimmel kicks so much ass in the show and he is quite a fantastic actor. If fimmel actually had the chance to play Aquaman, the character would be a joke no more.
Cyborg/Victor Stone
Robbie Jones,35
I'm still not really used to Cyborg being a major member of the League, but i'm gonna cast him anyway because I believe I have found a good actor in Jones for the part. Jones has been in a few things here and there like "one tree hill", "Hellcats", "Necessary Roughness" and most recently "Tyler Perry's Tempation"( Is he good in it, I don't know. I'm allergic to all Tyler Perry films). Standing 6'3, jones has the right look for Cyborg as well a care free attitude that essential for the character.
Wonder Woman/Diana prince
Genesis Rodriguez, 25
Yet again another tough one. I wanted to be original in my pick, but I didn't want to be so out of the box that it wouldn't be believable. I saw Rodriguez in the film "Man on A Ledge" and thought she looked perfect.... for Wonder Woman of course. Since then I saw her in a few videos on youtube and I think she would make a great wonder Women, all she needs is to hit the gym for more muscle definition and it would be set.
Martian Manhunter/John Jones
Forest Whitaker, 51
This seems a little odd I know, but I think it's a know brainer. Whitaker is one of the greatest, most respected actors today and I think he would make a phenomenal Manhunter. Just motion capture him when he is in his true form and that would be that.
Green Arrow/Oliver Queen
Ben Mckenzie,34
Oliver is one of my favorite comic book characters ever and i'm sure McKenzie would do him justice. I've followed McKenzie's career for a while i'm very happy about where it went. If nobody has see TNT's "Southland" please do so, your missing out, ben is doing great things on it. McKenzie has a great intensity to him, but could also be fun loving, care free, and and instantly likable, he would make an amazing Green Arrow.
LEGION OF DOOM
Lex Luthor
Neal Mcdonough
I stand behind this choice 100% and I don't give a crap what anybody says. This casting I've had in my back pocket for five years and I truly believe Neal would make the best Lex Luthor Ever, second to Rosenbaum of course, he will always own the role. Neal is an incredible actor who is great at playing bad guys. It also doesn't hurt that if you were to cover his hair with your hand he would look exactly like Lex.
Gorrilla Grodd
James Woods
This was a very easy choice for me. Woods has such a terrific, distinctive, and at times intimidating voice, it would work perfectly for Grodd.
Sinestro
Clive Owen
I hated the "Green Lantern" film, but like everyone else I think Mark Strong owned sinestro, but I had to search elsewhere for my choice and I chose Owen. Owen is an incredible actor with such depth and and charisma, I honestly think he would make a fascinating sinestro and a ferocious villain.
Black Manta
Eamonn Walker
This was another hard pick, I wanted to be original but a lot of fan- casters had already chosen the obvious picks, so I dug down deep and finally came up with Walker. Walker is an exceptional English actor with a long credit list. His most recent work would be as Captain Bowden in NBC's "Chicago Fire"( very good show by the way). Walker is a big man with a tremendous presence to him an I think he would make a cool Manta.
Riddler
Jonny Lee Miller
I am a huge fan of Miller. He is doing great things On Elementary and he plays arrogant intelligence fantastically . I truly believe he could own this role.
Scarecrow
John Hawkes
An incredibly underrated actor, I believe Hawkes could play this role beautifully and very, very creepily.
Soloman Grundy
Dominic Purcell
Good actor, big guy, could play a ferocious zombie, nough said.
Toyman/Winslow schotts
Giovanni Ribisi
I personally believe Ribisi would own this role. He plays a very good quiet creepy who could snap at any moment. While I understand that Toyman is often portrayed as a hefty guy, I think a guy like Schott would just be obsessively building in his basement and food would be the last thing on his mind.
Cheetarah
Michelle Rodriguez
Cheetarah is one looney bitch and for some reason when I was casting her, Rodriguez came to mind. Rodriguez is sort of weird hot, it's like yea i'd get with that, but then you keep thinking in the back of your mind "please tell me I made the right decision", which is essentially the same thing I think about when I see Cheetareh, so there you go.
Gignata
Emily Blunt
I'll admit I don't know a hell lot about giganta, but blunt looks the part and she's a great actress who keeps getting screwed when it comes to comic book roles, so why not.
CAMEOS BY.......
Lois Lane
Emmy Rossum
I think Rossum is a fantastic actress who is incredibly under used in film. She's a great actress who I think can portray both a spunky take no bull lois and a vulnerable lois.
Perry White
Jeff Daniels
This one was quite easy. I love Daniels in nearly everything he does an I especially enjoy him on HBO's "The Newsroom". He's at a good age, has the perfect look and would do this role justice
Iris West
Chyler Leigh
She is a good actress, with the right looks to her and I sse no problem putting her in the role
Mera
Karen Gillan
She is a very cool and very very hot actress. I've missed her very much since departure from "Docter Who" and I would mind seeing her as the wife of Aquaman.
P.S R.I.P Amy Pond
