After watching THOR for the first time last year I became greatly intrested in the characters. And it made me think of what I wish I had seen more of in the story, or at least things I would have tried to puting the story. Now before I get into what happens Inwill say now that the really big things you saw in THOR will be some of the big things in this story. It felt to me like I was trying to pay homage to it in a way. But there are some mayjor changes that you may not agree with. And thats fine.
1st: Loki is the older sibling and is not a Frost Giant.
I thought this would be a good idea for 2 reasons. 1 it would make Loki's wish to be King more sensible than just "Oh I wanna be King cause I feel as though I should be." Its his birth right. 2 It would make the dynamic between Thor and Loki more intresting. We've seenThor appeal to Loki. But Thor normally is the oldest so he wants to redirect his little brother. For those of us who have little brothers we can understand that. But since here Loki is the oldest Thor would be hurt because its his older brother trying to kill him and is always causing problems. Loki is someone Thor admired in his own special way. And there's tht added fear that he may end up like him.
Loki is married to Lady Sif. They have a child called Lara who ends up being Thor's child since for over a year the two have had an affair.
Loki banishes Thor to Earth. After Thor kills hunderds of Frost Giants and kills Laufey for his supposed murder of his daughter Lara.
Loki becomes King of Asgard. Odin goes to try and make peace again with the Frost Giants. But ends up being kidnapped by Surtur and Ymir as part of a deal with Loki for the Twolight Sword.
Thor has a romance with Jane Foster. This happens in the story after Thor has slept around with Jane's sister Janice who is an asrtophysisist. Similar to how Jane is one in the THOR movie.
Loki sends the destroyer after Yhor. Loki appears to Thor in a dream while Thor is in jail for starting a bar fight. He tells hik all the horrible things he's done to the people of Asgard. And he also tells him that he will send his "skurge upon" him. His "sword". The Destroyer in this story will be more on par to what he's like in the movie but more of a challange. But instead of Thor foghting the Destroyer its Jane who fights it, jsing Thor's hammer of course.
Okay now that you kinda get an idea of what I'm doing with this ket me explain the big things that affect the story.
The people of Asgard all hate Loki. This was a tough one for me, it took me weeks to find a good reason as to why. As a child Loki was mischiefous. Causing problems for everyone using the Tesseract(Loki's version of Mjolnir). Creating portals that people fell in. Making trolls that terrorizes people ect. But Loki after the age of 16 stopped all of that. Loki is in his mid 20's if you will at the start of the story. And both Loki and the people of Asgard are still holding on to that resentment. Asgard for having to deal with Loki. And Loki for Asgard not giving him another chance. He often refers to them as "Thor's people". Since they all favor him. And its when Thor shouts in his dreak "Let my people go" is when Thor grows up and takes responsibility for their actions and begins to defend them as their champion. Instead of being the...well Tony Stark ifnnyou will.
Thor learns humility. Well you all saw that coming. But Thor endures alot while on Earth. His relationship with Janice teaches him how he's treated women in the past. Like toys. Thor is depowerd like in the movie. But he does get his butt handed to him a couple times. His instinct for battle and ego of thinking he can fight anyone geys him into troible. Like people in bars and the Police.
Thats all I'll say for now. If you like the idea please respond in the comments below. I would love to hear your feedback. And yes I know I may have ruined the story for you maybe. But I will say I did leave the stuff I really like out. Just in case I may end up posting parts of the story on here.
Peace.
