Here are just a few more Marvel One-Shot ideas that popped into my head recently.

With the Russo Brothers recently stating that they feel the fallout from Capt America:Civil War should be an ongoing thing, I thought it would be a good idea to show what is going on with the people involved with the conflict outside of the big budget movie stage. So here are a few one-shot/side stories that I thought would make good "Marvel One Shots":

MARVEL ONE-SHOT: STATION CHIEF

Friend and C.I.A station chief Rozalyn Backus uses an old communications system to enlist Natasha Romanoff's help. On the eve of a scheduled rendition of a high ranking 10 Rings operative to U.S. authorities in Eastern EuropeBackus uncovers a covert operation being run out of her station. An unknown member of her unit -either one of her fellow CIA officers or a member of the private military contractors providing security for the outpost - is working with the 10 Rings terrorist group and most likely plans to sabotage the prisoner exchange. Two suspects quickly arise...William Cross... a private miliatary contractor whose cousin Darren Cross (Yellowjacket) had ties to the 10 Rings  organization while serving as CEO of Cross Technological Enterprises, and C.I.A officer and interrogator Tom Stuart who has tenuous ties to the 10 Rings group through his past dealings as a consultant to disgraced businessman Obidiah Stane.

Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow) - Scarlett Johansson
Chief-of-Station Rozalyn Backus - Kim Delaney
William Cross (Crossfire) - Pablo Schreiber
Agent Tom Stuart (Stiletto) - Sullivan Stapleton

MARVEL ONE-SHOT: SAFEGUARDS

After break-ins and escapes at supposedly secure facilities such as The Fridge, Seagate Prison, The Avengers Compound, and more recently The RaftSecretary of State Thaddeus Ross schedules an impromptu visit with the head of the ATCU, Brigadier General Glenn Talbot. While touring a facility for items and people deemed dangerous, Talbot shows Ross a few of the safeguards used to secure some of the facilites most dangerous detainees (aka The Luke Cage led Thunderbolts).

Crossbones  An enhanced mercenary & hitman named Tony Masters (Taskmaster) - Justin Theroux
Juggernaut   A Maggia enforcer named Raymond Bloch (Ox) with enhanced strength - Abraham Benrubi
An industrial saboteur and anarchist with advanced tech named John Morley (Ghost) - Matthew Gray Gubler
A cosmically irradiated and homicidal psychologist named Karla Sofen (Moonstone) - Anna Torv
An untrained technological genius and budding arms dealer named Paul Ebersol (Fixer) - John Patrick Amedori
An aspiring MMA fighter and recently turned Inhuman with uncontrolled sound-based powers named Melissa Gold (Songbird) -Eliza Dushku

That pic of Schreiber looks so much like Frank Grillo that I was a little confused by your tactics.

@minimal - Strange that I didn't notice that before now. LOL. After seeing him in 13 hours, I thought he would do a good job with the physical stuff involved with playing a mercenary type while still being able to handle any jokes/comedy Marvel might throw in the script. He also did some great work as a slightly off villain on shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

But yeah..he definitely looks like Grillo in that pic.

@mtwiggs - I haven't seen 13 Hours. Only thing I've seen him in is Orange Is The New Black. Shithead character but he acts it well and all.

Wow. I. AM. STUNNED. I really love this, you should do more. Pablo as Crossfire is the only one I'm not thrilled with, considering Crossfire is supposed to be the villain of Ant-Man And The Wasp, and unfortunately, Pablo isn't major-film caliber quite yet. Also, Theroux wrote Iron Man 2, so maybe he'd be more likely to sign on to a project because of that.

@LivingWeapon - Thank you. I really appreciate that.

I didn't realize Crossfire was going to be the villain for the next Ant-Man movie. I was trying to keep it relatively small in regards to casting due to the fact that these would be small budget and mostly used to shine a little more light on the main Avenger characters in each (i.e. Black Widow & Thunderbolt Ross).

Also, lesser known names have done very well with Marvel plans. I think with big names you invite problems that may not do well with multiple movie franchises.

@mtwiggs - Exactly what I was thinking. An astute observation, my dear boy. Lol.
